Q: Does this duffer bag come with straps for carrying it as a backpack?

This bag does not have backpack straps. It has straps to secure the bag when closed. It has multiple handles to make it easy to pick up. However, it does not have the ability to be worn as a backpack. It is a great bag. We have used it to fly for the past few years. It is great a keeping organized. It is very durable.

Q: Is this bag actually water repellent?

Hello, yes it is water repellent to a certain point. I think they have fabrics that are more water repellent if that is important to you. They look a bit shiny on the online pictures but on real life are not so much. We have a black backpack in that material. They also have it in a military/camouflage look. Those I bet you could walk through heavy rain with no issue. The normal fabric would saturate at a certain point.

Q: How long does the handle extend to? Needing overall height and distance from top of bag to top of handle when fully extended. Thank you!
