Great Resource for Aging in Place Design
Residential Design for Aging in Place has been a great resource for continuing my education on this topic. I have read this book cover to cover and continue to use it to look up pertinent information based on customer needs and concerns. As a trained CAPS specialist I find its content to be much more detailed than any other source I have found.

Excellent
Excellent book for architects, students and also for the general public when planning to build a forever house. The designs are smart and very well explained. There are case in point stories that explain the reasoning behind the design.

A book for home designers and builders
When I bought this book, I was looking for ideas on how to modify my home to be more "disabled-friendly". In my opinion, this book does not provide that. For example, I had hoped that it would provide a number of DIY projects that I could use.A book for home designers, not current occupants.

good for professionals and other interested parties
I practice aging in place in my design business and this book is a good reference. But it also helps people understand the concept behind the trend and why it matters.

Good Information, But
This book has some very good basic information, but it's severely outdated. Desperately needs to be updated. Not really worth the price, in my opinion.

Book so not targeted for the home owner
Excellent book if I was an architect or interior designer, not helpful for someone looking for ideas on building a house.
