Description
- This New Bare® Air-free Baby Bottle features a newly redesigned leak-proof, air-tight, smooth movement Air-plug®. Please see included directions BEFORE usage. **AVOID Steam or Microwave sterilization methods. **WARNING: Improper assembly may damage air-plug, do not insert Air-plug by hand.
- Bare® air-free baby bottle works similar to a syringe. The Air-plug® allows you to expel air before feeding. Upon suction, the Air-plug® travels smoothly to maintain neutral sucking pressure from top to bottom and feed baby air-free milk all the time to help minimize even the worst gas/colic symptoms.
- The Air-plug maintains an air-free environment inside the bottle at all times, this helps to prolong freshness and slow oxidation of nutrients.
- Perfe-latch® Nipple helps prevent nipple confusion. The short nipple stimulates baby to create a deep/wide latch onto the areola part of the nipple (not just the tip). Once a seal is established and baby initiates suction, the short nipple extends inside the baby's mouth, much like mom's nipple.
- No need for nipple stages. Bare's Perfe-latch nipple features different size orifices on its tip to dispense different flow rates controlled by the baby's sucking strength. With weaker suction (i.e. a newborn's) only the larger orifice dispenses (the large orifice is about the orifice of a standard newborn nipple). With stronger suction (i.e. a 10 month old baby) all the other smaller orifices dispense. Perfe-latch® and Air-plug® work in synergy to mimic mechanics of breastfeeding including flow resistance and suckling motion.
In an independent trial, we found that babies with diagnosed Acid Reflux and GERDS showed up to 95% of symptoms improved after feeding with Bare® for a couple of days. Some babies were even taken off the GERDS medication prescribed by their doctors. Babies who were never able to breastfeed (due to numerous issues such as mom's low milk supply, poor latching, nipple confusion, etc.) learned, by using Bare, to latch on the breast and were able to reinstate breastfeeding even after 3-4 months.
