Triple K Lightning Holster for Ruger Redhwak with 4-Inch Barrel, Walnut Oil, Right

This is a very well made holster with good stitching of heavy leather and formed to fit the specified revolver but...When trying to snap the retaining strap that goes over the revolver it is to flexible and is extremely hard to snap one handed or even two handed.I do not know if this is due to not making allowances for the way a Ruger Redhawk revolver is designed or just a bad piece of leather in that area of the holster but I do know that I am unhappy with the way this holster works with this revolver. For reference, I have several Triple K holsters and this is the first with this problem... Usually it is that the strap is to tight and needs stretched a little to work over a revolver.----In Conclusion----I wonder if a small metal piece on the inside of the strap would stiffen it enough to work with my Redhawk but this is something that the company should have thought of NOT something I should have to take care of.I will have to think more carefully on any future purchases of this companies holsters now but at least they are still in consideration.

The purchase was made for a Ruger Redhawk 45 colt (LC) with a 4.2" barrel in stainless steel. And it fits like a comfortable glove!This is a large framed heavy weapon, which requires a quality holster to support it, and I believe that this holster meets that criteria.Made in the USA, an attractive holster, and appears to be very well constructed of quality leather with heavy stitching.A holster, that I would recommend to the closest of family and friends! Buy with confidence.

Excellent,excellent. Perfect fit for Ruger Redhawk 4” 45 colt. No break in needed. Nice dark color. I had purchased a Galco holster and returned it for this one. Best move ever.

I agree with clots nice holster but have a little problem with snap I am hoping with a little use it will get better
