Updated- worn in the sun riding in heat and…
For some reason, Amazon always suggests that I’m a large when typically I’m a medium, so I went against their advice and ordered the medium. It fits perfectly. The material is not your typical, athletic polyester, stretchy material. It’s more breathable. Typical for the manufacture. It is well constructed with good seams, and multiple shaping pieces so it’s not boxy. It’s fitted but it’s not tight. I’ll be wearing it this summer while I’m riding, but will probably also wear it on the water. I’ll update if it lets me get sunburned, stains, easily, or has other issues, but otherwise, for now I’m perfectly pleased. Edit- wore this riding on a scorching hot day. It does a very good job of wicking away sweat, and no sunburn. Definitely worth it. Also an update as to the fit. I am tall ISH at 5’7”, love the length hits at the hip. So it can be tucked to be neater- I wear it out. Also, I’m a 36 double D, and the fit accommodates my bust without being obnoxious.

Simply perfect!
It's light, but not transparent. It fits true to the size. The quality is excellent. For reference: the rider is 5.2, 128lb and size small fits just right.

The material is too thick
I really like the style and color and the fit is perfect however, it’s not light weight. The material is very thick and hard to wear on hot days.

100+ Fahrenheit plus Sunny Days = Breezy Shirt! No sunburn!
I bought the MEDIUM size. I am 5'4" height, 125 lbs, with a 35.5 inch bust. This shirt is a true-to-fit Medium size. The shirt is a fitted fit, so definitely pay attention to the size guide. It's very light weight and the material feels synthetic. I wasn't sure I was going to love the feel of the material at first, however it's first use was outside in the sun on a 100+ F degree day with blazing hot sun, NO wind, and I was sweating buckets. Even as hot as it was, I felt much cooler and breezier than in my usual cotton t-shirts. I have fair skin and burn quickly in the sun, and I didn't get burned through the material, even though I was in the sun longer than I would have been in short sleeves. I was throwing bales of hay off a truck, moving 50lb sacks of feed, loading and unloading horses, and in and out of the truck/horse trailer. Nothing snagged, no stains that didn't wash out, and it felt like the shirt was pretty rugged despite being so light weight. I didn't feel like my movement was in any way limited with the fitted shirt either - it felt great! I was so impressed with this shirt. I've now worn it a few times and washed it after barn chores, etc and it's holding up beautifully. Still looks new. In fact, the pictures I took are after several washes/wears.

These shirts are the best!
I have a growing collection of these shirts and now almost exclusively wear them all summer. I live in the southwest so need sun protection all the time. They are cool, durable and provide great sun protection. I particularly like the chest and neck sun protection. The arms are also pretty long to cover the gap between the sleeve and my gloves. These shirts are my mainstay for riding, hiking, barn and any type of outdoor work!

Shirt uncomfortable and a little sheer
The fit on this shirt was OK, although the sleeves and body were a little long for me. The color was nice. It's a mesh fabric that seems like it would be pretty breathable. However, it was a little sheer, and it wasn't comfortable. The other sunshirt/cooling tech fabrics I've worn have been soft. This was stiffer and seemed a bit itchy. It also had ill-placed seams that chafed.I love the Kerrits icefil fabrics and I think those shirts are much better made. I wear the Kerrits short sleeve Icefil shirts and the tanks, but their long sleeved ones are too long for me , which is why I tried Ariat. The sleeves were a bit shorter in the Ariat, so that was an improvement, but everything else was way, way worse. Expensive and annoying as it is, I might end up just buying a Kerrits one and having the sleeves taken up.

Good quality
I use this shirt to ride in. It was looking for a long sleeve shirt with a collar. This is not a polo-shirt, but it fits comfortably and has a zip-up collar covering the neck, which is near to what I was looking for.
