Portmeirion Exotic Botanic Garden Salad Plate with Red Ginger Motif

I was given three categories to rate this pattern:...durability, thickness and value. Well, it is on sale, enough said. It is a form of queensware so it is thicker than fine porcelain. I have owned this tableware for decades and have bought many replacement pieces due to “crazing” in the glaze, fractures, various chips, exploding in the microwave on pierced pieces. I treat this product very carefully, I have been fussy over it for years. However, you cannot beat the design beauty with anything else on the market.. therefore I buy every piece that comes out!!!!
