SILVER STREAK Small Hunk of Genuine Meteorites Approx 4,200 Years Old Approx 1-1/4” x 3/4" x 1/2”

It's small but still for me a good size. Over night it was here, a good buy . I'm happy ! The piece stands out ! a must have.

This product is very disappointing.The packaging is absolutely misrepresented by the display picture. The 'authenticity card' is a loose-leaf, pixelated, blurry piece of crap printed from someone's home printer, which was hastily cut out from a larger sheet of paper with jagged borders of white and black. It is floating around completely separate from the meteorite itself.The meteorite is in a separate, very small plastic container that is only big enough to hold the meteorite (not with large borders as indicated in the display picture), which is about the size of my thumb from the first knuckle up. The meteorite appears to be anchored to this crappy plastic by a piece of chewing gum.There is no 'presentation' as indiciated in the display picture, which many would consider to be false advertising.I purchased this as a gift but I am too embarrassed to give it, so I have dumped it off at Goodwill. 2 thumbs down. I would never purchase this product again.

This is not no where near the size as stated ....it's barely as long as my thumb nail and as wide as my pinky nail ... I know its sapposted to be small but this is way smaller then the size stated. I looked everywhere for a larger piece then you'd normally get and from the reviews I thought it would be the best place to get it from but its not much bigger if any compared to other sellers so be prepared for an small size ....and beware with other reviews saying its larger then expected its not. On the positive side it did arrive earlier than expected and it is a genuine iron meteorite.

Not as big as advertised. Largest dimention about 3/4 inch. But ok for price.

I ordered this meteroite for class. It is very cool and used in the class room while students study meteor and related phenomena.

Bought as a gift for my nephew who wants to be an astronaut. Very neat gift. I was afraid that the meteorite we got would not be very unique, just a round rock, but that was not the case. The only problem was the card that came with it was a bit bent up, but my nephew almost fell out of his chair when he opened it, so not a big deal.

It is a good sized chunck of iron meteorite. I have seen pieces of iron meteorite the size of my pinky nail sell for 10 or more dollars. This has to be 20 times that size. The information that comes with it is also a great help. They dont just send you the rock, they tell you where it came from, what its made of, when it fell, and even how fast it was going when it hit the earth. I would definitely recomend to anyone looking to start or add on to an amature rock collection.

NOT AS ADVERTISED;PICTURE SHOWS A COMPLETE METEORITE.WHAT I RECEIVED WOULD HAVE BEEN A NICE SPECIMEN HAD IT NOT BEEN CUT IN HALF!
