Essential reading for anyone concerned with the wellbeing of children
This book is extremely accessible and immediately useful. It is organised and laid out in such a way that in just 15 minutes you can have 3-4 practical suggestions for activities and strategies that you can use with children. I would recommend it for teachers and school leaders, as well as parents and grandparents. At a time when emotional resilience and wellbeing has never been more crucial but fragile, I can't think of a more useful resource. Essential. I have bought 4 copies for friends and family with school age children.

Another highly practical, informative & timely book from Dr Tina Rae
Accessible. Informative. Practical. Dr Rae's unique gift is taking the research that busy practitioners don't always have time to read and converting it into useful and evidence-based strategies to inform classroom practice. This timely and highly accessible book will undoubtedly be welcomed by schools to enrich the Recovery Curriculum and enable children and young people to move on from stressful situations and trauma at a time of uncertainty and fear - including those related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

This Wellbeing Toolbox is accessible and practical.
As an Educational Psychologist I have been approached by parents and professionals raising concerns about youngsters' well being in these difficult times. I have used and recommended this succinct book. It offers highly accessible strategies and interventions across broad age groupings. It is an engaging read and the strategies in each area develop a textured understanding of the underlying psychology.

A recovery curriculum gem!
A great little book for some quick ideas, especially as we are heading back to the classroom mid-pandemic! I like how it's split up and it's in child-friendly language so you don't have to translate it before you deliver it! A really handy little book to aid in the recovery curriculum. The only thing to be mindful of right now is that some of the activities suggested would encourage the spread of germs i.e. the pennies one unless handwashing etc was strictly adhered to.

Excellent, accessible and valuable
This book has been helpful both professionally and personally. I have practised the activities with my children at home and used some myself. I have shared with our senior leadership team at a large primary school in a London borough and we are purchasing a copy for each year group for their PPA. We also intend for it to be used as a support for staff at this time. What we practice we can teach. Thank you so much for making it so accessible. An excellent tool for parents, teachers or anyone who experiences anxiety themselves
