Love this as a sight reading ezercise!

Great Etude book consisting of a plethora of excellent etudes. Many all state etudes are pulled from this book, and the Rubank Advanced Methods.

Great book for trombone players.

I hate etudes. There, I said it. I would rather play actual music. But sometimes etudes are necessary. If you are The Etude Guy and you need etudes to get you through your day, then you should love this book. I hate etudes but I love this book. I think they are well written and seem to cover a lot of different common keys/articulation patterns. Some of them are actually quite melodic - for etudes. It's a keeper, even if it's only a book of etudes.
