Italian Beef Sandwiches are as synonymous with Chicago as any food can be and for as long as they’ve been a part of the Windy City, the Buona family’s been a part of making them. Buona, The Official Italian Beef of Chicago Sports, starts with lean all-natural choice sirloin which is seasoned with Italian spices, seared at high heat then slow roasted for hours to produce their famous gravy.

At $17.50 a pound, what was I thinking............
I live in the SW, where we have lots of flavorful food. I've never in my life spent $17.50 for a pound of meat. I'm also not sure how 4lbs only made 5 sandwiches with 3 slices per sandwich. Regardless, there wasn't anything wrong with it, as a matter of fact, the lid came busted up, and I messaged the seller and a new one arrived today,(3 stars for that) but the seller never told me they were granting my request of a replacement, so communication was non-existent. The thing is, at $17.50 a pound, this stuff should have been amazing and it wasn't, it was just ok, when I transferred it to my crockpot the only spice I saw in the bucket was pepper and I didn't feel there was a strong pepper flavor. So IDK, is there a sandwich meat out there that IS worth $17.50 a lb?????

Greasy
Bought a 5lb tub from Gordon Food Service location in Sarasota. First thing upon opening container...What is that white stuff floating on top? Turns out, it was fat that coated the meat, the sauce, the sides of the pan, the spoon--everything. Beef had little flavor. Some Better Than Bouillon helped, but could not help with the greay mouth feel. Very disappointing. Do you really serve it this way at your restaurants?
