These brushes have performed exceptionally well for me. They hold water well as one would expect from a natural hair brush and they have not shed any hairs. Great value for the money. Recommended for any watercolorist on a budget or even if not. The set of four includes basic and the most practical sizes one would use for most projects.

Really surprised at the quality and the water holding power of these brushes. Nice to have the assorted sizes as I work on many different sizes of watercolor paper. These are really good for washes that are clean and even. The point stays sharp and doesn't run out of water too soon. Good price point and highly recommend.

I got the 3 set on this black Friday sale. I am so impressed with these brushes, I love that they come to a point which helps you use only that one brush you have. I wash them before using but they soften super easy. I did a couple of trials with paint and they just glide through my paper. I am super happy I came across this amazing deal as these brushes were always price high.

At first, I wasn’t impressed with these brushes because they weren’t doing what I expected them to perform the way i wanted them to. And these brushes didn’t make any sense to me. Anyways, I decided to try to use them again tonight and I realized it was the way you use the brushes that matter. My best advice is to have patience and play around with these brushes. I can’t wait to give these brushes further exploration and to see exactly what they are capable of in the future.

These are very good. I am very impressed and will order again if I ever wear these out. I love the load of watercolor it can carry and continue to keep the sharp point. Great when painting a background around an intricate area. Wonderful quality for the price.

Holds a ton of water a pigments and releases them to the paper in a controlled fashion. Great for wet on wet techniques and washes. Hold nice point. Ferrel is tight. No shedding. Need some experience and good technique to make the most out of the natural hair brushes. Gotta have good water control skills.

I purchased this brush thinking that it would maintain a nice point. When I took it out of the box it looked lovely. When the brush dries it looks just like a round brush even though I shaped it into a point while wet. I tried painting a line, I wet it and shaped into point but when I tried to get paint the point did not hold. I had to twirl the ends with paint on it. I’m am so disappointed.I’m reading all of the other reviews and it looks like I just got a bad set as everyone else appears to be pleased with the brushes. I might return and try another set. I gave it 3 stars because the brush looked well made, the box was very good it unfortunately didn’t hold a point which is why I purchased them

I'm new to watercolor but I love this brush. It holds a ton of water, great for washes and glides smoothly over the paper. It just seems easier to control and paint with, very happy with my purchase.
