the first time i ordered these they held up well for two years. this ordered the bibs began unraveling after the first wash.

My first review was the fact that it’s great for seniors and it is but after just two washings they fell apart. I’m giving it zero stars.

I purchased 2 6-packs of these coverings for my mother who is struggling more and more with eating. After one wash, this is what it looks like. The white edging is not sewn on properly. These were supposed to help her maintain her dignity while eating. Instead they fell apart and can’t be used outside of the home. I’m very disappointed. The size and thickness are just what we need, but the quality is poor.

Because they are terrycloth they do absorb liquids well, but they do not have a "back-side", so the front and the back are equally wet in use. Not a big deal, but these will soak through while you are wearing them, spreading moisture onto your shirt. FYIAlso, when you first wash them alot of the terrycloth material comes loose, so was and dry them seperately from your other laundry or you other cloths will bo covered in terrycloth bits. These are also cheaply made (no suprise there, the price should tell you that) and one of them is already falling apart after 2 washes,

Very happy I purchased these they wash up nice and clean and they are very simple to put on.

The size of these adult bibs is perfect for my 91 year old mother-in-law who is in a nursing home. So much better than tucking a napkin! At first I thought they'd be too long, but the length is great for catching dropped food that would otherwise land in her lap.The terrycloth is Ok quality - somewhat loose-weave. The problem is the binding around the edges - it's such poor quality that it's unraveling after just a couple washes- see photos.Finally, a snap would be much better than velcro closure. The velcro squares are stiff at the back of the neck. Also, you have to be careful to close the velcro before washing so it doesn't catch on the terrycloth or other items in the wash, causing pulls.

I like the product, but was charged a shipping fee, and I don't think I should have been charged that fee.

I usually eat lunch and dinner in my recliner in front of the TV. After years of having to treat my shirts for food stains before laundering, I decided to do something about it. These bibs were one solution, and so far, as long as remember to pull one out before I eat, they work very well. They are large enough to cover yourself down to and over your lap. The Terry cloth is very absorbent. They fasten in the back of the neck with small hook and loop patches. The only down side is the size of the neck opening. It is too large causing me to pull it up every few minutes. The odd thing is, I spill less on the bibs than I did without them.

These are a god send and easy to wash

I washed these prior to use and they fell apart in my Miele washing machine.Save yourself the trouble.
