Never Gonna Give You Up!
Very. Large. I can’t stress that enough ESPECIALLY if this carrier is to move across the country like it was for my Person and I. This temporary home was anxiously purchased for that 1500mile and three-day trek from the East Coast to the middle of the country for Murray, our 17.5lb American shorthair mix. He’s a CHONK. Solid cat through and through he’s knocked things off counters and pictures with faint constitutions from the walls. When the carrier arrived, despite understanding its collapsible nature, I did have a moment of “ah crap did I miscalculate?” No. No I did not. When opened and locked in position, it takes up roughly the body space of a 17gal packing tote and nearly the full height of my “person space” when the back seats of my Prius were folded flat for him to sit on. If I didnt already have an obstructed view, I would NOT assume his carrier would block my rear-view.I was able to pick up The Monster and set him in….a he stared at me. Murray is large and his past methods of travel were always cramped, too short in carrier length, or quite frankly his massive strength began shredding “comfy mesh carriers” within the first 8hr leg. My nervous couldn’t take that crap - so when he just SAT there in his carrier, wide open, with no fuss or yeowling or distress, we had a moment of pure staring at each other. Then… Uh, Injust uhm..yea like casually closed the door. He can see sitting, standing, lounging, out of all sides. And while his paws CAN fit through the slating, he was only able to “grab” fabric items nearby and/or “clack” at the sides of the carrier since it has more than one layer (due to the locking). It never gave. I don’t even see scratches where he tried - and for the first hour of the first leg, oh lawd he tried.Although a little clumsy of a carry (I’m 5’ nothing), it was VERY easy to get a grip on the carrier and take him with. It was a two-handed carry because he’s huge but also because the carrier allowed for more movement than some of the others - but I won’t sacrifice his comfort.Unlike his other travel experiences, in the hotel he did NOT come flying out of this carrier like it was on fire. He and the other cats in our clowder actually intermittently took turns lounging in it - and sometimes, TOGETHER they fit.Catnip is recommended for any pets traveling (chamomile or whichever kind does NOT make your kitty hyper!!!!) to rub or dump in the basin of the carrier - not much made it out of the tray-like depth anyway! Feliway was an easy application into the grooves of the slats and made for better ventilation in my car. He laid flat like a Roarscarch puddle and slept peacefully through each leg with no fussing or causing the other cats to fuss.Once we arrived, it became like a temporary kennel, a place familiar to house, so we left it open for him and his siblings to retreat to until they stabilized.Overall amazing purchase. I will be buying this method for Murray’s brother, Merray, in the smaller size since he is a sleeker cat and not quite as chonky.Reference measure for Murray: 17lbs, 14.6” from foot to crown of head. His middle is approximately 6” wide across the belly, and about 50/50 body huge and leggy huge, and this carrier accommodates both! AND after the big move he isn’t afraid of the carrier so now it doubles as a home kennel!Ref pic: folded/collapsed against a 40” insignia tv. And then fully expanded next to the same tv. For depth, the interior and vacuum pic - the interior “sitting space” is as wide as the Dirt Devil Powermax Rewind’s brush head so if you have this or similar, it’s this wide PLUS my size 6.5 foot for scale. (I didn’t have any bananas for scale, I’m so sorry Reddit!) Another reference is my smallest cats’ carrier INSIDE Murray’s’ and the only reason it won’t latch is simply because Murr’s is triangle and the XXS carrier is squared. The small traditional carrier INSIDE this one measures: 19.3L x 12.6W x 13.1D in inches.Last grateful notation: the SOUND of this carrier and the material it’s made of reduced stim stress among the entire clowder. If I can ever help it, I will bar the sound of metal grates or crates from my travel plans (less required by flying, etc). Gone was the accidental rattling. No more sudden CLANG CLANG CLACK while trying to load up multiple cats. The carrier made very little if ANY road noise and was tight-packed like a Tetris set for maximizing A/C from my cars center vents. While Inwould never stack things ON him, I was confident that if my art pictures resting atop the tvs in the veerrry back of the car were to shift for some reason, Murr would be protected by this carrier and without the terrible sound FX! It was easy to feed him his dry snacks and patience treats ( and another chamomile dose during some really loud engine breaking!) without having to open or breach the carriers’ lock sets. He could see me and chat me up for security without looking like a furred prisoner and I am very secure in observing how behaviorally chilled out my big lover boy has become about large travel trips.Very hotel friendly and, if the door and front are secured, left open (such as in the vacuum pic), you can insert ANOTHER tray and use it for a litter stop like we did within the hotel to keep mess down and repack speed for the mornings quicker.TIP: do not ever, EVER pour litter directly into ANY carrier meant for rest. Cats do not sleep where they defecate unless stressed or forced to, and they DEFINITELY do not eat near where defecation occurs. PLEASE use a high-sided pan (cheap from Walmart!) to fit inside and protect your kitties’ dignity and sensory needs for the long haul if you plan to be utilitarian!!!Kitty Pics:Murray has the Monroe Mole and a totally white muzzle.Merray, in the second picture, has no forehead blaze and the nip stuck on his nose like a true hemphead. (It’s chamomile, do not smoke weed around your cats, it WILL screw with their respiration system.)* they did not travel crated together, this photo is “familiarizing” them with the smell and presence of it as well as my Person and I communicating the intention to travel.A+ carrier. Did not break the bank. Collapses into a slightly thicker/bigger laptop case, and my cats aren’t traumatized by the experience. I will be a loyalist now to this carrier and its brand.Thank you.

Perfect size for a big cat
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this for my 15 lb cat after realizing he hates the car because he needs more space. This is big, kind of awkward for my 5 ft 2 self to carry but I’d rather he have the space, and he has A LOT here. I also leave it out with the door off 100% of the time and its his favorite bed, even when we get back from the vet he’ll go right back to it. He’s much happier in the car now, even for longer distances, it’s like night and day to how he was before. I’m able to secure it in the car by weaving the seat belt through the back slats, so it feels safe for travel.

Spacious carrier for larger cats and easy access.
Nice large carrier with easy access for placing my medium/large cat. The door is removable so the cat can take time getting comfortable in it. Going in and out as she pleases. It says waterproof bed in the description but there wasn’t a bed with it. Not sure how to address that. My cat is over 17years old and I did want a bed for her comfort. Arthritis setting in. But it’s a very nice carrier and much easier to get cats into. I’m happy for that!

Sturdy, Easier To Put Cat In, Less Storage Space
I am so happy this carrier came back available in this size. I bought one this size before and lent it to a friend of mine. I have the ex-large carrier that fits both of my cats in it. This is purrfect size and shape for one cat. I find the shape makes it easier to carry and A LOT easier to fasten with the seat belt in the car. This carrier is sturdy, folds up for storage, and getting the fur babies into the carrier is so much easier than the box carriers. Definingly recommend this carrier!

I Like It and I Don’t.
I can see why this has such mixed reviews on it. On the one hand, the design is clever, the water proof bed is great, and the thing is completely collapsible. This is immediately a Very intriguing and eye-catching product straight off the bat just bc it’s like nothing else I’ve seen on option out there (as far as I’m aware). On the flip side to all those positives that I like about the carrier tho is basically exactly what everyone else here is already saying: The quality is horrendously flimsy, the “locks” and latches seem unironically laughable when you finally transformer the piece into an actual full sized carrier, and the darn thing just constantly makes me a bit anxious if I’ve even set it up properly. Bc folding the lid holding piece onto the already popped-into-place Lexus symbol looking piece the two don’t always align perfectly or snap into place with the latches easily the first time. This carrier Is clever I’ll give it that, but had i found a slew of other, similarly themed competitors on Amazon with exactly the same design and even slightly better looking pictures that hinted at sturdier quality workmanship- I would have jumped ship sooooo fast. For now, I’ve only used mine once and the pet I used it on was a hardly 2 pound kitten who may or may not be a runt. This was perfect for a first test run together tho and properly did its job and held up great in the car as my kitten protested loudly and with passion as she attempted to bite at her prison . 😂All in all, I’m not going to rave about it- I know better than that, but I’m not totally upset with it either. We’ll see how long this lasts and if the latches break in my hands as I go to set it up for a second time later down the line. 😌EDIT (01/23/2025): it’s actually holding up really well and my vet loves it. It gives her such immediate and easy access to my little one when we go in. Meanwhile, my kitten is obsessed with the little fluffy bed that comes with and now I keep the carrier popped open and ready for her permanently- she makes biscuits and suckles on the bed she loves the thing so much. Even when I think I’ve finally traumatized her with a vet visit or a long car ride, she’s always right back in her carrier, right on top of the little bed, and having a blast by herself purring away. AND it’s held up really well DESPITE my skepticisms and doubts. Note, I did stop folding it down after like, my second use when I figured out my girl liked it most when it was open and up so the locking feature on the carrier hasn’t really gone through any tried and true wear and tear from me. Overall, I actually DO really like this, and if mine ever breaks or if she ever outgrows her current one as she slowly transitions to adulthood, I’d probably get another one of these without question (unless something better and similar comes up of course lol). Really, really nice product overall. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Easy to clean and love
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this because it’s large and hard so it gives room and stability! I keep it out so my cat also uses it as a cat bed. She loves it and so do I! She usually always goes potty in the car but so far she hasn’t while using this!! YAY
