I would absolutely recommend this duvet insert for anyone with muscle weakness and who wants the extra warmth, but that absolutely cannot have heavy covers. For being king sized this duvet insert is super light weight. I found myself reaching down in the dark to check if it has slipped off the bed several times the first few nights. I really only notice the weight of its size if I’m trying to drag the whole thing across the bed.What surprised me was how hot it gets! Despite the cotton cover being breathable and super soft to the touch, the polyester fill really only breathes when you move it around. Even in our house set to 71°F, and the overhead fan on the highest setting, it stays toasty warm, until you move and a rush of cold air comes in. I slept under this without a duvet cover for 3 nights, and then 2 nights with a 100% cotton duvet cover, and had the same issue.Due to temperature sensitive skin allergies, I absolutely cannot sleep under hot blankets. My partner is also a living lava flow as soon as they fall asleep. For me in summer, this duvet insert does not work, but I am looking forward to testing it out in the winter or for when my partner is not a human furnace to offset the chilly temps our house shifts into at night for sleeping.The squares stitched into the duvet insert are very large which saves in labor and production costs but can lead to the material balling up or bunching in the corners with washing over time. I personally thought the corner loops for thing to a duvet cover (and there are ONLY corner loops) we’re very small for how large the item is; sometimes it’s size/bill and not weight that makes it a struggle to get covers on even with such a silky exterior material. Also despite the polyester fill being synthetic it took several drying cycles and flipping the insert around inside the dryer to fully dry. All told it was about 6 hours to wash and dry this item prior to use, so be ready to spend a day cleaning this thing each time it needs it!

I use the comforter for my guest bedroom

This is a great deal for the price and is truly lightweight for hot sleepers – it fluffs up significantly more when you wash it, vs just air-dry fluffing out of the bag. It is soft.The "eucalyptus cooling" junk is pure marketing. It is not "cooling." If your body heats up during sleep you will heat up under this more than you would under a real-cotton down comforter. Perhaps bc microfiber doesn't breathe as well as high-quality cotton, or this one doesn't anyway. Also this is thinner than a down comforter and the fill seems to be more tightly packed, which also makes it less breathable.If you are not a hot sleeper and don't mind microfiber instead of cotton this is a great option for you!

Thick, but fluffy! So soft and great quality!

Despite this being the lightweight(year round?) duvet insert, it is quite warm! Fabric is very soft. The weight of the blanket is very light. And on our king bed, enough drape was given to the foot & sides. Very happy with it and the price was excellent!

This is a very nice comforter. I was looking for something thin, not overly fluffy for my new duvet cover. We tuck in the bottom and sides into the wood sides. Previously we had something too fluffy and it tore the duvet cover when jamming it into the frame. This one easily glides into place. I might also add we don’t sleep with the comforter on. Because of its thinness, it is easy to fold and remove from the bed. So as,far as the feel, I can’t really answer.

I've purchased this comforter a year ago and been using this comforter during this summer, and I couldn't understand why it was so disappointingly short on my king-size bed. Only now I finally measured it. Instead of being 104”x88” as specifications say, the comforter barely covers my king bed and is measured as 94”x84”. What a disappointment! I'm so frustrated that it took me so much time to realize this. This is not a light, cool summer comforter—it actually makes you very warm. I would return it if I could, but now I'll need to dispose of it.

Product arrived in box only, no plastic wrap. Comforter smelled badly of strong women’s perfume. Obviously a used product. Buyer beware
