I would've gave it five stars but apparently I'm not allowed to wear this at work because it's unsafe and not sanctioned by my fire department (go figure a day Glo yellow hat with bright LEDs to wear on EMS and traffic runs ). I did get to wear it for a couple tours before the chief started telling me that I was out of uniform and looked unprofessional, and when I did get to use it it worked absolutely great! totally hands-free, very bright light, easy for everybody to see me and for me to see everything that I needed to look at. I was wearing it during a cold time of year it was 5 to 10°F outside so very chilly And the hat did a good job of keeping my head warm too.

Bought this for a winter night time running program and am very happy with my purchase. The lights are bright, the color is very visible (especially when lit), and the hat is extremely warm. I've put it on to unload groceries and all sorts of tasks because it's so handy!I still carry a small flashlight in my hand while running so I can spotlight upcoming obstacles. Everyone in my group has commented on the visibility the hat provides. Wish it came in a lighter weight version for when it get warmer!

I use this for my rescue gear- when on ambulance calls its super handy to have the light and not have to hold a flashlight! The high-vis color is a must! Its very comfy as well!

I bought this as a gift for my nephew who for walking his dog at night. He said that it was very bright and lit up the pathway very well, plus was nice and warm.
