ClosetMaid usually has good products, I am surprised how cheap this shoe storage is. To start its very tiny, if you have a 200SF condo, it will be the perfect size. Quality of the shelf is weak and the slots are small. Kids or sandals or flats would be suitable. The back is a cheap cardbosrd, I giess if you push it up against the wall it wouldn't matter. Only positive thing, its quick to assemble and light in weight. Anyways, its a pass for me.

This is perfect for shoe storage. Not high quality, but great for our needs. Works best with flats, sandals, etc. The cubbies are a little tight for high heels, but we made it work.

Nice & sturdy. I was hesitant to buy after reading some of the reviews. I understand the concern for the tiny spaces but someone mentioned leaving out some of the inserts. I tried this & it became a 9 shoe holder instead of 15. To me, it's worth losing those spaces because the bigger ones are spacious enough for my husband's size 11 shoes. So, it ended up being 3 small cubicles & 6 larger ones. I use the smaller ones for my daughter's toddler shoes. Of course you can always keep all 15 & put one adult size shoe per cubicle. Easy to assemble. I know this because I never, ever assemble furniture & I was able to do this easily. One annoying thing is that the cubicles slide into the shelf & aren't attached to anything. Annoying because it's possible when you pull shoes out that the cubicles will move out too. Wish they would have designed that part better. I mean, they give you 20 nails to keep the back on but the actual cubicles have no reinforcement to keep them in place. Dumb. Anyway, I do like it. I got the cherry color because I read the espresso looked black. Cherry color is nice, not super dark or light. I like that our shoes are no longer strewn all over by the front door. Good deal for the price.

The particle board leaves a lot to be desired. Theyre flimsy and I already have a corner coming apart.
