A must read for erotic romance fans with a slight twist!
Professor Mia Rose teaches an Alternative Sexuality course at a university. She instructs others about the many different ways of exploring sexual fetishes. Little do her students know, she has a fetish herself. Food. Food for Mia Rose is a sensual, erotic, aphrodisiac. She loves watching it be prepared. The tastes...the textures on her palate...she loves everything about it.Jagger James is a 26 year old student in her class. Even though he is only 26, he is very wise for his age. Jagger charms Mia Rose from the very first day they meet. When she finds out he was once a chef, she goes weak in the knees.I really loved Jagger. I was so moved by his love and feelings for Mia Rose. He didn't hide them at all, but instead he accepted his feelings with open arms. He tried to be around her every moment he could. I think it's uncommon to see the male in a romance/erotic novel embrace his feelings. Men usually run towards the opposite direction. But Jagger didn't. He knew of her fetish because he had one as well. I knew from the beginning how he felt and I really enjoyed reading about his emotions and his thoughts. Mia Rose, on the other hand, fought the chemistry between them because of the no-teacher-student-relationship thing. It wasn't easy for her, he made her blood simmer. And when she saw him cook (in a kitchen that I really want!) she nearly turned into a puddle of pudding on the floor. This is a fascinating eye-opening book. I never knew fetishes were this complex until I read this book. It's much more than you could imagine... more to the "how" and "why" it happens. Ms. Bradley was able to delve deep into the psychology of her fetish and really bring her sexual fantasy to the surface. She was able to really get inside my mind and allow me to relate to it, while keeping me entertained with an erotic story. I've never read a book where the heroine is older than the hero. This was another first for me. Hmm...I seem to have a lot of firsts with Eden's books. Ms. Bradley made food sexy...very sexy....and stimulating to read. This is a great book. Truly a book that I loved. I recommend it to all as a "must-read" for anyone seeking an erotic romance with a slight change of pace.A few of my favorite parts-"You have a little of the raspberry here..."She opened her eyes and looked up at him, He was bent over her, his face only a few inches from hers, his gray eyes gone dark and hazy. He pulled his hand away, licked the drop of sweet red sauce from his fingertip. She was shaking. Her gaze went from his mouth to his hand, to his eyes and back again. He leaned in, a fraction of an inch/ Her sex a sharp squeeze. She bit her lip."Jesus, Mia Rose," he muttered before he moved in to hiss her."Do you have any idea how real this is for me? Because I'm taking a hell of a chance here, with you. It's like I'm slicing myself open, leaving myself raw. But I have to do it. I've been so damn hurt before. I was never going to chance this again. But I can't not love you. Even if it tears me apart all over again.""That makes it even worse!" Her heart was hammering, her whole body hurt."Worse? He lifted himself up so he was braced on one elbow, looking down at her. He ran a hand through his hair. "What's so bad about loving each other?" -Jagger to Mia Rose"And I'm not going anywhere. You just need to let it be okay. Be with me. Love me. Let me love you."

4.5 stars. Wow! Fresh, different, sensual, erotic.
REVIEWER'S OPINION:Well done erotic scenes with good stories. There were two couples in the story. One couple was a female professor and her student - a forbidden relationship, yet they couldn't stay away from each other. I was melting with the way they used food. The tasting and feeling of food was sensual and sexual. A second couple involved a woman who needed to be commanded and taken over. Gideon did that. He was mysterious and secretive. There was almost no talk early in their relationship. For their first encounter, he saw her, grabbed her hand, and took her into a janitor's closet without a word before or after. He told her what, where and when to do things. They had sex in public places with a risk of being seen. Their relationship was also well done. I had trouble deciding between 4 or 5 stars for Amazon. I rounded up to 5 since I would definitely recommend buying it, for someone looking for good erotic scenes. Note for some readers: there is one scene with rear door activity.STORY BRIEF:Mia is a professor teaching an Alternative Sexuality class. Jagger is 26. He was tired of being a successful chef and left his job to go back to school to major in psychology. He is immediately drawn to Mia. He asks her to coffee. He continues to pursue her. She is afraid of falling in love due to events in her past. The classroom topic of types of sexuality is a small part of the story. Most of the story is about relationships and events outside of the classroom.Mia's best friend is fellow teacher Karalee. She is used to controlling her relationships with men and has never wanted to have a committed relationship. She meets Gideon who turns her world around with experiences she has never had or allowed herself to have before.DATA:Story length: 277 pages. Sexual language: strong/erotic. A Perfect Read!
This was just a fantastic book on so many levels! The characters were real, the story lines were entirely plausible and it felt like the story could be happening anywhere to ordinary people. The only thing that might have been improved was Mia Rose's repeated emotional angst as it seemed to drag out. The sex was sooo good and there was lots of connection between both sets of heroes and heroines. Love the idea of the second plot line. The food with the sex was very well done and seemed light and fun. I highly recommend this book. It was well worth the money.

Should have been two separate stories!
I think that this book was ok...not great...just ok.I think the author switched back and forth too much between the two stories...there was enough "juice" with both couples to make two separate books. And the sex while it was hot sometimes, was unbearingly annoying...the way they spoke during sex made it sound like teenagers instead of a couple in their late 20's and early 30's. I felt like if I read "Ah God" or "Yeah baby" one more time I would puke.

Al that's forbidden...
I discovered Eden Bradley recently but must say her writting is great and this story is a dream come true because at least once in our lives we have had the fantasy to have a fling with a teacher....and Eden Bradley just makes that fantasy even better.

Good book but repetitive
I really enjoyed this book. My only complain about this book is the fetish scenes are very repetitive. *spoiler* Mia has a major food fetish which is fine but they seem to do something with food in every chapter. It gets monotonousness after awhile

Hot & Erotic
I liked the book, the dynamics of it, Jagger is no ordinary student he's a fully grown man and knows just what he wants and goes after it, Mia Rose is what he wants and he gets all of her, it's very hot, hot and erotic.

fruity more than forbidden
I really love Edens books but this isn't quite as hot hot as the others . Maybe my expectations were too high after loving The lovers . When I read that Mia was lecturing in alternative sexuality I was really expecting forbidden stuff but although the sex scenes are hot and the descriptions of food lush I think my expectations were a little too high . This is an erotic romance more than a strong kink . Maybe alittle more of the second couple; Karalee and Gideon , as they seemed to have a more mature kind of sex . I guess this is more a romance for those in their twenties to appreciate.

Enjoyable.
I really enjoyed this one although the nature of the main characters relationship was not as forbidden as I expected and that did disappoint me a little. Overall though a well written and thoroughly enjoyable book.
