Riders by Lee Indigo Women's Midrise Bootcut Jean

I am 5'9" and the length on these were perfect for me. I got the 34" length, which are really hard to find, but perfect with boots or platforms. The size was a bit small according to the reviews, so I sized up, and they fit perfect. (Normally I wear a 12, but sized up to a 14 per reviews.) These are the Lee's I used to wear...plenty of strength in them, not a lot of stretch, comfy and feel like they will last. Thanks! (And thanks for not making the front pockets smaller! Ladies NEED pockets!)💙

Like these jeans! Nice material, durable, true to size, and was able to wear my boots with it!

Originally ordered size 12, which I expected to be a little bigger than the size 10 I ordered in 2018 (at that time I ordered a 10 and a 12 and returned the 12 as too large). Possibly the exact pattern has changed somewhat because they were obviously far too tight to even get on. Other reviews also say the sizing runs small, so I guess I should have listened! Order a size up from what you expect. The 14s are actually slightly loose for what I expected, but overall satisfactory in fit.The inseam seems to be fairly true to the stated measurement - 32 inches I think is a bit long for a "regular" (I expect petite to be more like 28 instead of 30, and regular to be 30 instead of 32) but mind that as well. If I order some more pairs I will get the petite sized inseam.The dye is -very- black! Makes it obvious how black my shoes actually aren't. The denim thickness is light, not a heavy denim that will stand up to a lot of wear, so if you expect or need that, these probably aren't the jeans for you.

I love my jeans! I wear them every day to work and they’re not only comfortable but they’re cute! They make my bum look great! And the rise is perfect. I’ll definitely be buying more.

Good points:Very deep black (and they come with a warning that the colour might rub off on lighter textiles!)VERY stretchy if that's what you wantNice and long in the legs. I'm 5'11" and could wear boots or heels with theseModern boot cut (more on that later)Drawbacks:The FIT: I always wear a 12 in Lee jeans and these were a bit tight. I could wear them if I didn't mind the muffin top due to the fact they are smaller than any of my other jeans and the "midrise" is very low (to me, at least). If you are looking for mid-to-high, really, like me, do not buy these.The STRETCH: VERY stretchy. The kind of stretch that snaps in to hug your body no matter what. And, I don't know why, but that sort of pants always seems to get folds in the backs of the thighs (the front, too, if they are loose, but these are not). They are also very stifling in the heat. If, like me, you live somewhere where it is 30 degrees Celsius much of the year, do not order these. You're welcome! (Looked it up, that's 86 in Fahrenheit.)The CUT: As I said, these are modern boot cut. Maybe I am really looking for flares. 20 years ago, what we called boot cut flared out right below the knees and looked great. These grab me right down to mid-calf (so everyone can clearly see how knock-kneed I am - if my legs were straight, I'd be even taller!). Then they flare waaaaaay out. I find that pretty ugly on me. I guess they could work with boots if you have small calves (I do not). They are indeed huge through the ankles, but I think they would be pretty snug over boots in the lower calf. Also, they are on the low side of midrise, which is another huge negative for high-waisted me.Hope this helps!

These are comfy jeans and I like the dark wash. They do get stretched out and baggy after a wear.
