Great base for my personal potting mix! (Update 1/26/2023)
I do some indoor organic gardening and I like to start with a known, good organic mix as a source and Greenfields is my go-to!I add in pumice, rice hulls, red wigglers and voila! I can grow from start to finish by just watering with weekly dose of Recharge :) Not only that, using this recipe I'm on my third grow using the same mix and all I do between grows is a quick cover crop cycle. I also feed my worms some rotting avocado from time to time as well. My worms are healthy and very active, and, the plants are thriving! Why add pumice and rice hulls? First and foremost, both pumice and rice hulls are all natural. I wanted to be able to re-use my mix as many cycles as possible without needing to till or mix, so I added them for longer term aeration and moisture management. Also, the rice hulls also provide a source nutrients as they break down. I mixed in 8 dry quarts of 3/8" screened and washed pumice along with 1.5 pound bag of dry rice hulls, that is the recipe working great for me.Honestly, I've never had plants grow as large as the ones I've been growing in this mix, so I will stick with it. At some point I expect to replenish the mix with more rice hulls and a little compost perhaps, time will tell. For now I'm very happy with these results.Update 1/23/2023: I use this mix in a single grow tent with two other grow tents in the same room. A week or so after putting the earthbox having this mix in it in the grow tent and just after the seeds had sprouted, I had the worst infestation of fungus gnats I'd ever seen. Thankfully neither of the other two tents had a single gnat. Thankfully I was able to completely get rid of them using nematodes and showering immediately after touching the tent! In all fairness the earthbox filled with this mix did sit in the area outside the grow tents for a day before being put in the tent, but since none of the other tents have shown evidence of a single fungus gnat I'm kind of leaning toward this mix being the culprit.I will remove one star because of this and I will use this mix once again because I'd never had this happen before. Lessons learned? Well, nematodes ROCK and fungus gnats....um, do not :)

Grew me some good marijuanas with this right here, I tell you whut!
I mixed it at about 2 parts ROGF to 1 part cheap store bought organic potting mix and fertilized with fish emulsion and high phosphorus bat guano teas. Resulted in very aromatic and flavorful flowers.Unfortunately the price seems to have increased from around $25, so don't think I'll buy again.I'd recommend mixing your own "super soil" if you have the time. It'll save you a lot of money, give you a better understanding of plants' nutritional needs, and give you the sweet satisfaction of accomplishment. Although good products, these hydro/cannabis soil and nutrient companies really mark up their prices.

Not just a bag of dirt!
This soil is amazing for growing healthy productive plants. I order it all the time and mix with worm castings, peat moss, organic compost and bio char. I also add down to earth brand products like kelp, alfalfa, bone, crab meal and mycorrhizae. It all starts with this soil loaded with plant loving contents! It is not your typical garden store bag of dirt. You do not find these contents in a store bought bag of soil. All of root organics products are great. It is amazing and worth the price if you are serious about growing big healthy plants!

Always easy. Always good.
I’ve used this for outdoor plants many times. It never disappoints. It will make your life easier. I recommend taking it out of the bags as they don’t drain well and there’s shipping labels over the holes usually. Use fabric pots. The Greenfields is too hot for babies. Use the Roots Original for those. Or put the Greenfields in the bottom 1/3 of the pot, Roots Original in the top 2/3. You can supplement with Roots bottles at 1/2 to 3/4 strength...like 600ppm in flower and keep ‘em steady. Maybe add some Real Growers Recharge or a probiotic tea. If you are using MammothP, use it at 1/2 strength until week 4 of flower.

Great stuff!! Easy/Ready to use!
Fast shipping! Good pricing when you buy two!! I received a bag that was torn a little on the bottom causing a little amount of the soil to come out. However the box wasn’t damaged at all. Reached out to them and they made sure to credit my account with $10 to recompensate for the damage done! Would definitely recommend and I will most likely buy again in the near future!!!

I've used this is self watering planters for my citrus ...
I've used this is self watering planters for my citrus and fig trees. The soil is staying at the correct moisture, the plants are thriving despite having to recuperate from several problems associated with the previously used common potting soil. Well worth the cost, I'll be using this exclusively from now on.
