Gets the job done
So my new motherboard had only one case fan connection, and my PC build has five fans. I had a splitter cable to work with, but that still left me with the problem of not having enough connections and having lots of cable to manage if I split the splitter with another splitter (following me so far?)Enter this device. It's simple but gets the job done. Four case fan headers and one CPU header are on here, easy to access. The back has sticky tape that you can use to secure it inside your case, and once done you can plug in all your fans and manage your cables. This allows the motherboard to control all the fans and regulate their speed. One header is marked for CPU fan, and I didn't use it. I have no idea if it outputs the same voltage or is somehow different from the case fan headers, but it seems useless to me to specify CPU fan on this device. I can't think of anyone who would need to split a case fan header and make it work as a CPU fan header AND multiple case fan headers. But then, maybe I'm missing some specialized need. I don't know.Either way, for my needs this was perfect. Cables managed. All fans spinning happily. Everything is copacetic. Five Stars.

The solution before a fan hub
The solution between a 2-way splitter and a fan hub. I've typically seen fan hubs that range from adding 6 to 8 fans. Considering that a fan header on a motherboard is typically set to 1 amp, I would be afraid to go past 5 fans depending on the type of fan. While a 2-way splitter is not taking full advantage of your header.I made a build for my brother with a budget motherboard with limited fan headers and this expanded the fan options for his case nicely.

PERFECT FOR ALL THAT EXTRA RGB YOU NEED FOR YOUR YOUR BUILD!!!
Exceptional value. Ihave an ASROCK B450M PRO4 which comes with 4, 4 pin PWM connections already. but i wanted to install a 120mm AIO with a push/pull config. The nylon material seems high grade, but really stiff. which make the small wired connections to the unit feel a little cheap. Been up and running now for 2 months with 0 issues. Super compact and easy to tuck away in any part of your build. getting one for my sons PC as well.

Extra fans
Had some extra fans to install and this helped keep my build clean as far as cord control

Fan speed is reduced some where between 200-500 rpm.
fans that are rated for 2000rpm and perform to that expectation, coming from a single fan header, does not meet these speeds when this adapter is being used.RPM speeds are reduced from approximately 100-600 RPM.Not sure if this is result of too many fans on one header, so this is not going to be that great of an option for multiple fans in my opinion.Even other split fan cables seem to reduce RPM a bit. Maybe a fan controller of some variety would work best.GL

Good
I got 2 and both work as they should

Works well.
Works perfect. Comes with some sticky tape on the other the side of the board.
