I got this snuffle mat for my elderly indoor cat to help reduce boredom. She likes it, but it's not super challenging...it's better as a supplement to more challenging puzzles for variety. But it's as described and seems well-made (although my old girl isn't rough with it). I do strongly recommend that cat owners try out puzzle boxes for their cats instead of a snuffle mat if they're only going to buy one thing, though, because puzzle boxes offer more variety/challenge. My cat is obsessed with the 2 we own (the Trixie Mini Mover & Move-2-Win). I just needed a 3rd thing for extra mental stimulation. People strongly underestimate the intelligence and need for stimulation of their cats, but it's more responsible to keep them indoor-only. Puzzles are a great solution, despite most of them claiming to be for dogs! Now, my cat IS fairly food-motivated, but other cats I know who don't really like their food also love puzzle boxes because they're just more fun. (Be patient; they'll figure it out over time.) Anyway, I am keeping this mat even if we don't use it daily because it's the perfect size for a cat, it's cute, sturdy enough, and adds an additional simple puzzle to keep her busy to our arsenal of more challenging puzzle boxes.

Our little Chi/mix enjoys finding food in the soft fabric flaps. This slows him down & is fun to watch. We like the small size & nice colors. We just got it days ago & so haven’t washed it yet.I can’t comment on the durability yet.

I bought it so my food allergic chihuahua could have her own snuffle mat. I was worried it would be too big when I ordered it, but it is just her size and easy to carry to work with us. In fact, I might have commandeered it for work...much easier to show pet parents what a snuffle mat is than to try to describe it. I guess the only down side is that there isn't a rim of some sort so I can hide the kibble closer to the edge.

My trainer recommended this toy. I bought a big mat before and this small-sized mat is perfect for a change. Its in unique shape and good quality. Fabric is soft and durable, easy to carry and wash. highly recommended for small puppies.

I like the size and shape of this mat. it was boring work for me to hide the food, but my dog likes to forage for the food particles. After eating I roll up the mat and when it s mealtime he will drag the mat out to get the food. It provides enough nosework and entertainment. Mat is quite small. It fits perfectly with small dogs.

My Sheltie loves this snuffle mat! She passes over food in her bowl for food hidden in this mat. I also like the relatively small size, no "non-snuffling" wasted space. It is easy to clean, and though it has no suction, that is not an issue at all. It seems to stay put until she finishes eating and decides to bring the empty mat to me for a refill.

I had tried all sorts of games to stimulate my dogs, one got them easy the other used to look so defeated… till I got her this. It’s challenging enough to see her little brain working but east enough to get a reward that it’s actually encouraging for her. This is the perfect size for a smaller dog (mine is a mini dachshund).
