I was looking for a scoring tool on my pottery teacher to recommended this one. It’s great. Strong enough to score, but small enough to use on tiny areas.

I started ceramics in January of 2020. The art studio I attended sold me a beginner set of tools. The more advanced you get, the more important it is to invest in quality tools. The wires on this tool are firm and durable, not something you see in beginner sets, which often have flimsy wires that bend too easily. I love this brand for its attention to quality. While you might think it’s too expensive to buy Kemper tools, you won’t regret it when you do. Plus they will last much longer than cheaper alternatives, so you may end up spending just as much or more for replacements.

This tool is hands down the holy grail of clay texturing tools. Those little prongs won’t move whatsoever unless you move them by hand yourself. I work with air dry, polymers and stoneware pottery clays, trust me this makes life so much easier.Sure you can buy a complete set of clay tools for the same amount or even just a few bucks for a cheap flimsy texture tool, but you’ll end up with a giant mess in your hands and wires sticking out in every direction...not fun 👎Pick one up, this quality little guy will last you longer than you’d think.I’ve included a pic with a sample “shrubbery” of the dreaded firm Fimo clay, those wires didn’t even bat an eyelash 😉.

This tool is an excellent tool for effect of wrinkles and hair. I had used someone else's and knew I wanted this if I ever found it. I'm happy with this purchase and look forward to more orders from you.

Way more durable! I love it! I won't need to order another for awhile but I want to just because it's perfect! Does not bend or break !

Works great for the texture I do with Polymer Clay.

Use it to score pottery before affixing handles too mugs, etc. we did spread the wires out more than the width they were upon arrival.

does exactly what I need it to for a good price. mainly used for joining and adding texture.
