Mythographic Color and Discover: Frozen Fantasies: An Artist's Coloring Book of Winter Wonderlands

This book is just gorgeous from top to bottom. The illustrations are winter/frozen themed, well detailed images and if you like detailed pictures you will love this book.The paper is lovely medium weight white paper and slightly textured, just perfect for coloured pencils. Images are single sided so basically you can use any medium to work on them. The pages are perforated if you want to remove them easily. Linework is printed with black ink and it varies between thin and thicker lines.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes Fabiana Attanasio's work.

There we go again with the overkill and ridiculousness of the hidden objects. The images are lovely and the paper quality is very good. The illustrations are printed single sided and very intricate. But the hidden objects are ruining it: there are too many (13-14 per page) and they make no sense (i. e. washing machine, tape dispenser, etc.). I wish there would be versions of her mythographic books available without the hidden objects. Then, I would give them 10 stars.

i really love this new edition of Mythographic. It’s detailed, so fineliners are required which is fine by me because i love using fineliners. Printed on one side so any medium can be used (alcohol markers, sharpies, bics , water based markers, pencils, gel pens etc). This book allows a lot of creativity. Sometimes i’m in a pencil mood, sometimes i’m in a marker mood, sometimes i’m in a gel pen mood, sometimes i want to use everything in one picture! This allows for that. No two-page spreads, but i’m kinda relieved about that, i have enough two page spreads in other books to keep me busy for a year so i’m not missing the two page spread.As the title states, most images have some sort of ice in it, but the “frozen” theme doesn’t dominate the whole book. it’s not like page after page of Arctic images, i promise.Pics have a border around them which i like because i don’t have to deal with empty white space, or think up a creative background! Thank god for that!I recommend this latest edition.

the paper it is printed on is sturdy enough to take a variety of mediums. the subjects of each page are very busy and require much coloring of little pieces. i started the first page and i quit that to color a valentines page but i will go back to it later. the pictures are busy but interesting.
