I can confirm this as I have used it with NFC on my phone many of times as it is very convenient & very easy to do. It's slightly faster than plugging it in via USB as well, but either way works fine. I personally prefer using it with NFC. I am not sure where Sgt. Scott got his answer from, but maybe his phones NFC isn't working because as I said before, this Security Key most certainly does work with NFC. I can add a video to my answer showing me doing so if you would like a visual confirmation, but I assure you, it does work. It specifically states it in the item title as well as in the item description. NFC is one of the main reasons I chose this particular security key. I personally have 3, this one, which is the (ePass k40), I also have the (ePass K9), & the (ePass K40 Plus) which is the same as this one but also has PIV functions.
