Good Net
Good net. Large size is good for lake trout. The rubber netting works good to prevent treble hook tangles. Only complaint is that the connection between the net and handle had aluminum edges without rounding that scratched my boats gunwale. I rounded them off, now it's great.

This net is huge!
This net is huge! Bought it for my dad's Steel Head and Salmon fishing and it certainly will work for that. We put a 30 lb toddler in it to check fit, and it was perfect. The construction quality is great, and I really like the rubber coated netting. The handle seems robust, and as long as you don't use too much leverage on a very heavy fish at full length, it should hold up well. The only complaint, but not quite enough to lose a star is that they did not add additional studs for locking it closed. I figure that is preferred for quick deployment, but makes storage a bit tedious as the handle wants to slide out when moved.

Great adjustable net
We’ve used this bet a few times now. We love the adjustable handle and the rubber netting. The only negative is that the rubber end on the handle where you grip came off inside a rod holder on our boat. We were able to get it out and need to find a way to reattach it in a more permanent way.

It gets lots of use every day and is still working great!
I bought it for a kids camp I volunteer with. Fishing is one of the most popular sports and the lake has 7lb. and larger catfish and bass. Previous ones weren't big enough and they didn't last. So far this one has accomplished both. It gets lots of use every day and is still working great!

Came in pieces
The handle came off, a plug fell out, and the push buttons to allow the pole to stay in place were all messed up. After using gorilla glue to glue back the handle and the plug, I then went to work on the push buttons. After 20 minutes I was finally able to get them to line up so they could be pushed in and still come out after being pushed in. The pole is good and the netting seems well built, but since it came in pieces and was a pain to assemble I would not recommend this product. Not sure if they are all like this, but clearly I got a bad one.

Appears to have great potential
I have to say this net looks like it will work well. Unlike some reviewers here, I haven't yet tried the net with my cat, or loaned it to my dwarf neighbor for the odd games he and his full-size wife play on nights of the New Moon, much less used it for a big fish. I can suggest however that anyone who wants to make this net a 5-star instead of 4-star should take out the handle, get a 1/2" or larger drill bit, and carefully drill into the snap-button holes *only* far *enough* to make a depression. This will let your fingers easily press the buttons down so you can easily collapse the net. Then, while the handle is out, use a rat-tail file or a rounded file to file a "ramp". So that when you want to extend the handle and have the buttons snap into place, it just ramps them right in. If the designers of the net added this extra $3 of work (probably a half dollar overseas), it would be 5-star no problem. It doesn't need the mods, but yeah, at least do the ramp thing. Can carve the ramp with a knife if you need to. And maybe try netting your mate too.

Great net
Big massive net, quite heavy to lift but very sturdy, on both the net and the handle. Extend to around 2.3M full length, so when open fully, you might need two hands to lift up. The coating on the net ensure that hook doesnt get tangle easily and fish can't bite through it.

Great net. Great value. Sturdy!
Very sturdy net. Nice length when extended. Using off a pontoon boat and this net, extended, has lots of reach. A little heavier than other nets but this in my opinion is due to the good materials used to build it. Rubber coated net does not get hooks impaled in it. Flat bottom net is great for catch and release.
