Perfect fit
The replacement strap was a perfect fit and came with the necessary tool and screws. It’s a great quality strap and my watch that I have had for years looks brand new.

This broke within a week .
Must have been old leather. The leather ripped within one week of use. I'm very disappointed. The band on the original watch lasted 5 years, this one lasted 5 days.

After a lot of frustration I found this wrist bandfor the Skagen 331XLSLB. The product quality is excellent and it's pretty close to the original. It comes with tools and screws.

Your Only Option For This Proprietary Design?
If you have a Skagen 331XL model watch you know it's a good watch and you also surely know the strap attachment design is crap. It will surely break, and it's proprietary so none of the standard third party replacements will work. Rather than throw a good timepiece in the landfill you will have contacted Skagen, now owned by the Fossil Group.A few years ago they may have offered you a replacement that cost almost as much as what you paid for the watch originally. If you were me, you would have bought it and maybe muttered "never again". Then the replacement would break quicker than the original one did.So then you go through the maddening hoops of trying to get through to FG services and they will tell you they don't have a replacement available anymore at any price. You will find their support unacceptable but you are stuck. You might swear to never buy another product from a company that offers no support or solution for products with obviously defective designs, as I did.So, then you see that Amazon now lists an imported replacement! Yay! It's not inexpensive, though, and the reviews are kind of troubling. But it's your only option so you give it a shot. The good news is that it fits. I did have to do a little microsurgery with a razor knife to remove some of the material over the tabs where the screws go in as it bunched up when I tried to fit them into the metal slots of the watch. This was not fun and would be easy to mess up. With the aid of a jeweler's magnifier it went okay. A little wax on the tabs helped insert them fully. The strap itself is thinner than the original, and who knows how durable this iteration of "genuine leather" will be. That said, it's also a little more flexible so hopefully it will not break at the attachment points so easily. It looks okay but not quite as nice quality as the original. The construction is pretty much spot on otherwise, nice job.I used the screws that came with the new strap rather than the original screws as they seem to be a hair longer and fit into the new strap better than the old ones that didn't seem to want to go in all the way.I'm happy to find a replacement that works this well. If it actually lasts awhile, doesn't peel, flake or anything, I might come back and upgrade my rating.

Fit watch but didn't last
These straps fit correctly but they did not last long. I don't wear this particular watch very often so I'm quite disappointed in how quickly the straps broke. Original straps lasted many years but these only lasted months.

Very Good
The quality is amazing. It is very difficult to find this belt nowadays. Thanks for the great service.

Fit
You have really clean out the watch area where the band goes in take out the metal strip and all the redefine of the old band . Btw: it’s a 2 man job to secure properly but so far so good .
