Vitkatronics Red & White Portable Turntable Suitcase USB Record Player Ambassador

This was a gift for my granddaughter. I gave her some of my own 45s and LPs and she thinks their are wonderful.

Bought for granddaughter Christmas gift! She takes it everywhere. Easy to use and set up.

The turntable is compact and plays well but the volume produced is not what I expected. You can barely hear the record. If you use an external power source and speakers, the volume is acceptable.

I am so disappointed in this record player. I should start by saying, I knew I was not purchasing a top of the line player. I am just introducing my daughter to vinyl and I was really excited for "Santa" to deliver it to the house this year. The first side of the record played wonderfully, it wasn't until we flipped the record over to the other side that we noticed the warp sound. I thought it could be the record so we played a brand new one and the sound was even worse. I noticed the record was slightly wobbling as it played making the sound come out horrible. It was the turntable and the more we used it, the worse the sound got. I had to get down on eye level with it to notice, but as the table spun (without a record on it) i noticed it wavered up and down and I could see daylight in places I should not have been able to. I called to see what my options were - It's so cute and was perfect for my needs, but it just didn't work correctly. I didn't want to take my chances with exchanging it so I opted for a refund and shipped the player back.
