Good monitor. I will purchase another
I purchased the HP 24uh to replace an old 19" envision lcd that was about 15 years old. It came packed well and was easy to unbox and set up. It is light and is there is some ability to adjust the angle of the screen which is nice. I considered spending a little more for a display that would allow for height adjustments up and down via the pedestal but the adjustments I can do with the tilt are fine so far. If i need to adjust it up at all risers are cheap.I have mine connected via HDMI.Since the DVI-D is used on my dock for another monitor already. Easy three display setup with my laptop.I went to HP website for the latest drivers. The default recommended settings are what I used after the latest drivers were installed. I have this setup with a dock so that anyone of us in the house can dock our laptops and have three screens to work with.I work in Information technology and use this for standard web interfaces and CLI access to network systems for support, engineering and management. Of course there is email, excel, word for standard business documentation. So I am not doing anything graphics intensive. The quality of the display is more than good enough for what I do. I would not be confident to say that this would be sufficient for someone who works with graphics and video and requires specific color and resolution for work. But I would guess that anyone who is expecting a display to provide what they need for that type of work would know more about what they are looking for and see what this is best used for by looking at the product details.I will likely purchase another one sooner than later to replace my other old Envision. The old thing looks like the sad poor younger cousin of the new HP.

Great Second Monitor
Had to get a second monitor to work from home. This one was a great deal and the size was great. The display is clean and crisp and it was super easy to set up. Just two cords, power and display. If you are setting this up as a third monitor you will need the DVI cord not the VGA cord that comes with it. (But that is standard for any third display. Would highly recommend for a work screen

Good economical 2nd monitor, shipped fast!
I have owned other HP monitors and while this one is on the lower end of the quality and feature spectrum, itis perfectly fine as a 2nd monitor. I am using it next to an older HP w2408h which is also a 24" monitor but has a different aspect ratio so I just had to to tweak my display settings in Windows 10 so things didn't change size dramatically when I move something from one screen to the other. Usually if you are going to use two screens, you get 2 of the same model. However, I was abruptly tossed into working at home so I didn't want to spend the money for two new monitors especially when my older HP was working fine and looks a bit better. As far as features go, this is a basic HP model. It's got adjustments for brightness/contrast, color and few other things, but no physical adjustments for height, only tilt. I stuck a hardcover novel under it to raise to the height of my existing monitor. Color-wise, it appears a little washed out compared to my older HP monitor. Even after adjusting the saturation all the way for RGB, my older monitor still beats it. This new monitor does provide crisper text and graphics so that is a plus (my older HP is 8 years old)It did come with a VGA cable which I swapped out for a DVI cable because my other monitor was already using the VGA input. The seller shipped this very quickly and I am grateful for that because trying to work with a single monitor when you are used to having 2 at the office is a killer for graphic design work.

so that should tell you it's viewable quality is quite good. I like that there is button wording on ...
The monitor is very light, and the color it produces is right on, and only slight light bleeding on the sides, nothing that distracts, and it's less than my Samsung 32", so that should tell you it's viewable quality is quite good. I like that there is button wording on the lower right hand corner, that allows for easy manipulation of the buttons behind the panel, very easy to use. My only complaint, I wish they would throw in a HDMI cord, but I understand at this price, one can't really complain, for it's truly a bargain for its quality.

It has a great image & was easy to assemble
We've been using this monitor now for about 3 weeks & so far, it's serving us very well. It has a great image & was easy to assemble. I chose this monitor because of a good personal experience with HP monitors, plus the price point. I also love that it offers 3 input selections - HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA. We run a dual monitor system on our home computer & I use the HDMI connection for this monitor & the VGA connection for our other HP monitor.

Excellent quality 24in monitor for just over $100
Excellent quality 24in monitor for just over $100. I do mainly music production and spreadsheets and am a weekend warrior with Lightroom and Photoshop. If I were a professional photographer or graphic designer, I would get something better, but for Excel, the internet and Logic X, this monitor is great. I used it to extend my 15in Macbook Pro and it did not disappoint. It is super-light and I like the fact that there are holes on the back for a VESA mount. My only complaint is that Amazon put it into a box that was much larger than the monitor with absolutely no protective packaging/bubble wrap. The second I took delivery of it I could hear it shifting around within the box. I am fortunate that HP packs their box so well and my monitor didn't have any issues, but just put some protective packaging in there next time Amazon. Geez. But I guess that lets me know that the product is durable.

Great value for the money
I might not recommend this to a professional photo editor, but it is a great office monitor for the price.
