I can't tell whether the shields actually work since I don't have the technology to try to steal the chip information. They appear to have the requisite metallic shield that is supposed to protect the chip from unauthorized viewing. The cards fit well in the sleeves, but the card plus sleeve is a tight fit in my current wallet. I suspect that wallet designers will fix this when chip cards become more prevalent.I don't believe that my passport has a chip, but the next one probably will.

I just received my credit card protection cards and I love them. The packaging was beautiful and the sleeves came quickly. My credit cards fit perfectly inside the sleeves and fit perfectly in my wallet. I feel more protected knowing that they are in a protected sleeves. Given the rampant identity theft going on today, and for this price, purchasing this item is a no brainer. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Although this product did not fit my particular wallet they do appear that they will wear quite well. My wife is very happy in that she gets the ones I would otherwise have used. The Passport envelope fits nicely & we will both be using them.

Slim enough to still put in your wallet slots

These were perfect for a trip abroad. I used them for passports and credit cards and felt confident that my information was protected. I am keeping them with my travel kit, so they are ready to go next time.

I'm sure they work, but these things are a pain. By the time you slip a card into it and try to fit it in a wallet slot, it's too big to fit some wallets. Even if you can get it to fit, it's a pain when paying for something to pull the sleeve out and then juggle your wallet while you then slip the card out of the sleeve. I ended up ditching them and getting an RFID shielded wallet.

Gave as a gift and they really appreciate it. Cards fit in well and inserted into wallet slots without a problem--no tugging needed to remove them.

I only needed 2 of the set but seems to do what it is advertised.
