Scythe AV-19 Tank - Construction Toy for Custom Building and Battle Play - Ages 8+

No dislikes! I have purchased quite a few of these sets for grandson and all them have been a favorite. He has no problem assembling or following directions. They are of good quality and make quit a respectful display when all of these are set out. Quite impressive when the floor contains "Snap Ships" and military items in true form. Our son was in the Army and this grandson has much respect for service personnel in all fashion. Thank you. High recommendation.

For the price, I was expecting something smaller and more delicate than what actually showed up. The pieces are all made of sturdy plastic, with only a few parts that feel thin and might be prone to breakage. There's a just-right amount of small pieces to add surface details over the basic cubes that serve as the main structure of the vehicle.The assembly instructions are fine, much like the way Lego set instructions are presented.There's a lot of play value in this toy, with swiveling guns, working tank treads and wheels, a pilot figure, and missile launchers with surprising range (two or three feet, and no accuracy whatsoever).The top of the box is plastic, and it includes a central peg-hole so it can be used as a display stand for the vehicle. Pretty cool.Overall, I'm very impressed with this toy.Some issues to watch out for: The pilot figure has a very weak-looking plastic joint at the hip thatseems prone to breakage. Other plastic hinges on this toy (on the missile launchers, cockpit, and wings) also seem to be less durable than I would like.

Snap Ships is just a really cool idea, I recall similar toys from the lat 90's/ early 00's and loved them then. Nearly endlessly customizable and with the free phone app to go with it, you get extra step by step model instructions that shows you exactly which parts you need and which kits you need to find those parts. the AR part of the app is mostly to display the models and describe the parts on the model with stats which is a nice addition to the already cool models. If you're more into the display aspect than the play, the box top is actually a stand for your model. The kit also comes with a special tool for separating the parts and it is absolutely required for doing that. most of these parts fit really snug together so don't loose the tool!

My grandson knows when one of these Snap Ships is scheduled to arrive and watches for the mail. He then promptly assembles it and plays with it for about and hour and then it goes on a shelf. I only buy them when they are seriously discounted.

Excellent toy design and is nice for kids. I like the materials that feel durable and also enjoy the combination options.I got it for my kids, five and nine years old.

Great product, easy to build and very sturdy. My only complaint is the treads are black and are taped around a little compartment on the back of the plastic. The color of the treads is identical to the plastic, and I spent a couple of minutes looking for them, convinced maybe it was mispackaged. Maybe stick some orange tape on then, or list the fact that they're on back with instructions. Other than that great product

This entire line of toys is fantastic. We have one of every set, and two of some of the ones with really great parts. I had to order the tank from Amazon, as I couldn't find it at any local stores. Be advised that the tank treads aren't in the parts bag with all the other parts, but are instead taped to the underside of the plastic insert. I almost threw them away! I strongly suspect a lot of people actually did toss them out, sadly.

My kids (11F, 8M, 5M) love playing with these ships and building the different versions. They also enjoy looking at the ships on the app and playing the games that it has. "Snapper Ships" have become a number 1 request for my 5 year old and the 8 and 11 year old enjoy building them and playing with them also. They are great because of their modular building and how "Cool" they look.
