This band works simply to keep inserted firearm in place. The stitching isn't super-robust, but has enough strength to keep a firearm in its pouch. This isn't the kind of system you'd expect to draw and re-holster from on a daily basis: that would probably wear out the band quickly. I usually leave the firearm in the band and store it securely when not wearing it. Next time I'm ready to carry I just put the band around my abs with firearm already to go. Snug, but a bit warm. Worth the price and made in USA.

Good when yo need to carry and your wearing sweatpants. Definitely not practical in a life or death situation.

I just completed a 10-mile run with my mid-size Glock. The reason that I purchased this was to carry protection while running and I know of no better protection than my Glock. With the days getting shorter, I'll be running in the dark soon. Just the number of big dogs on the loose in my neighborhood is enough reason to be armed. I don't even want to think about what other dangers are out there waiting to attack.For running, there is naturally a fair amount of up and down motion. The Velcro held great and the Glock was secure for the entire run. Absolutely no worries. One thing to consider though is that the gun wanted to bounce a little as I ran. Next time, I'll tighten the holster a bit more and I'm sure it will be fine. I did want to include some measurements and sizing considerations if you plan to use this for running. I got the medium which is listed as 33-38 inches. The band is 39 inches (edge to edge) with 7 inches of Velcro on the end. Also, it is stretchy and guns (especially loaded guns) have weight and so you'll want to order this a bit smaller than your waist size with the intent to stretch it a bit to reduce the gun from bouncing when you run.If your a fat lazy couch potato like most Americans then just get whatever and it'll be a really comfortable holster :)

I have used this holster for about a month now, and this holster is extremely effective and comfortable. I can conceal carry a Walther PPS in it with just a T-shirt. The description said that it would come with a retention strap, however mine did not. That being said, I probably wouldn't have used it anyway, as my other "go-to" IWB holster is a Remora, which doesn't have a retention strap. I have not had any problems with the pistol shifting around at all, and the trigger has never been exposed unintentionally while wearing it.It is very effective at distributing the weight of a pistol, and can be worn under sweatpants very comfortably. I am not able to effectively conceal a full size pistol with it, however, it is still very comfortable to wear with heavier firearms. After using it for several weeks, I noticed that the band itself has begun to warp, however it still functions perfectly. I also would caution that the barrel of my pistol does tend to stick into my leg a little bit when sitting, which is uncomfortable at times.Overall this is a good product which suits my needs well. I would highly recommend this product.

I love mine. I wear it when running in the morning or mountain biking. I even took a pretty good crash on the bike and it didn't budge. The velcro strap that goes over the back of the slide works great and the belly band doesn't slide up or down. Great choice if you love normal shorts and being comfortable while carrying. One negative is that the mag holder doesn't have the same strap. But. I can look past that and you shouldn't let that stop you from trying this.

The Good: comfortable while jogging/walking for hours, holds my pistol securely, the magazine slot is a great place to carry key, ID, and CCL.The Bad: can only carry a tiny pistol like my Ruger LCP, and the velcro retention strap is annoying but unnecessary unless you are bending over frequently.I would buy this product again.

Update: I've had this for over a year now. Still a great holster. I'm 6'2" 200 lbs with a 34-35" waist. It fits snug to the body and holds well. I run a lot with this and have never felt the gun was lose. With a lot of practice I am able to draw the weapon quickly & safe. The only drawback to it and the reason for dropping this to 4 stars is the sweat factor. Wearing this while exercising will get sweat on the gun. Even wearing it daily over top of a shirt will still have a little sweat on the gun. There is no neoprene on this so keep that in mind, end update.Love this thing. I bought this to carry when I want to wear athletic clothing. Now I find myself wearing this a lot more than originally intended; its that comfortable.
