The lid and base don't match, so its impossible to turn and extremely difficult to open. My husband had to sand it down to fit properly. The price is ridiculous when you consider the work you have to put in to actually make it function. *EDIT/UPDATE* Seller listened to reviews and fixed their product. Seller reached out to previous buyers to make it right with exchanges and refunds, good customer service.

Kudos for the fact that it’s not plastic. Beautiful little box without appearing too fussy. Light enough to carry and the magnet holds OK on mine, yet IMHO, it’s more of a surprisingly nice-looking thing to keep on a countertop. That’s why I decided to keep it. Almost sent it back. Why?Mine had a strip of unsanded splinters in one compartment, and the side of a another section was cracked (see photos). Would have felt better if the item’s description had mentioned that the item is unfinished, partially or otherwise, like something you’d find in a craft store. Another recent reviewer (March 2021) also mentioned a similar crack. Hopefully, the crack won’t compromise the thing’s longevity.After mulling it over for a week, my take on it is, someone’s been attempting to create something pretty and functional that’s also eco-friendly. The material being used (wood) evidently doesn’t always allow for perfect execution of the pleasantly appealing design. But they’re trying, and it’s close. Guess I’m willing to trade flawless perfection for an item that helps the planet. I still overall like it.

This is a pretty good little pill box. I did not have any issues with the lid sticking; everything operates as it should. The CNC work on some of the 'petals' was rough, but that is inevitable when cutting into short grain with CNC. One of the 'petal arms' (?) arrived with a small crack glued back into place, which was a bummer but not a deal breaker. I sanded the box it a little bit and treated it with cutting board finish (food grade) and it turned out very nice (pics with the darker shade box are the finished product). I think the additional labor on my part was worth it and I think the item is worth the $20 I paid for it.

When it arrived, it was jammed shut. But it looks cool. Lol****EDIT*******The company reached out to me and offered to exchange until I received a product that worked. The new box is beautiful and works just fine! Much more aesthetic than a regular pill organizer!

I bought this to use as a medi-minder. I love the look of the wood. I created a vinyl deign so it would look eve cooler. It holds all my meds and vitamins with plenty of room, and looks adorable. My only issue is that the lids get really tight it spots and you can’t spin it around, so I can’t just turn it and dump my meds in my hand, I have to take the lid off and take my meds out of the compartment individually. I got 5 of them so I have a full month worth, and all 5 stick (some more than others). I would still buy them again, but it is pretty frustrating.

I love this pill box. It has deep pockets so it fits all my medication and vitamins for each day. I enjoy that it isn’t plastic too.On the down side is the lid. The first two days it turned smoothly. Day three...I don’t know if the humidity rose or the wood was just acclimated to my home, but the lid was so tight I had to pry it off. In my opinion, the problem is likely that the item needs more sanding and to be finished with a sealant. As far as I can tell, this pill box is raw wood which means the humidity will affect it more. I realize that the price for this would be higher if it was finished more, so overall I’m happy to take the time and do this finish work myself so that I can keep using and enjoying this pill box.

Turns with no problem at all. The tiny magnets keep the top from falling off. It is exactly what I was looking for. I’m trying to avoid buying Plastic. It is very well made.

I read the reviews before purchasing so I knew what I might expect: It's nicely crafted and aesthetically appealing, but it doesn't work like you'd hope, AND it's pretty and I like it anyway. The top doesn't rotate around the base at all, so I have to pull the top off and hold it tightly with the opening over the slot I want to get the pills from, and then turn the thing upside down to let the pills fall out. It's not good for travel, but if you're just leaving it on a counter or shelf, it does the job and it looks nice. As other reviewers have said, it kind-of doesn't work, but it does get the job done and it's really nice looking. I know I'm not the only one to keep it in spite of the design/craft flaw(s).
