I am a mosquito magnet. I can be in a crowd of 100 people and no one would get bit by a mosquito but me. I tried everything from eating garlic, drinking apple cider vinegar tea, essential oils, Off, a variety of Deet products, and many other things people suggested to me that worked for them or that someone told them worked for them. Nothing helped (had my yard sprayed and that helped some). This product actually does work - believe it or not. Needless to say when I first tried it I was very skeptical. The first evening I tried it, I didn't get bit. Figured it was a fluke so did it again the next night. I dared the mosquitoes to bit - they didn't. Thought maybe, well, it's not really very humid out like it was supposed to be the next day. Well, tried it the 3rd day. It was hot & humid - the "real feel" temp was 105 and I still didn't get bit. Love, Love, Love this!

I have lived in Florida since '08 and always longed for the ability to sit outside like I used to back up North. Every evening when I fish or sit outside i would have to run back inside in a hurry to avoid getting bit by the no see 'ums. I used this for the first time last night on my balcony right near a brackish water canal where we cant sit out unless its too cold out to sit outside in the first place. We stayed outside for hours drinking and having great conversation. This device works and i am going to buy one for loved ones and recommend buying one to all i see getting bit on a nice fine evening. People near us were swatting and slapping their bodies and we were sipping away our drinks and enjoying the evening. It works! no sticky sprays or candles that dont work. Buy this! Dont look anywhere else. You have found what you are looking for. Hunting, evening back yard sitting, etc, etc.

I live in northern Minnesota. The heart of mosquito country. I am one of those happy people that mosquitos love. I am preternaturally attractive to the little buggers. I was told about this product from a friend that uses it when he goes duck hunting so I figure it would work for me. To test it out I used it to mow my lawn, at dusk, on a perfectly still evening, after a two day rain. NOT ONE BITE! I can't describe how nice it is to be able to be outside without being attacked. I have tried every spray on the market and all the natural remedies. The longest any of them worked was 20 min and then it wears off. This lasts 12 hours! Highly recommended especially if you are one of the lucky ones that have the mosquitos love me gene.

I was skeptical about these devices. After getting chewed on all spring by skeeters, and hating the smell and feel of sprays and lotions, I decided to give one of these a try. They really do work. You need to be in a relatively calm area, but once the fumes from the device form a curtain around you, the mosquitoes don't come around. There really isn't much of an odor - I think the pads have Chrysanthemum extract, so it isn't obnoxious.The refills are a bit expensive, but look on youtube and you will find several methods to refill the butane canisters. Also, an alternative to the refill pads is to buy mosquito coils and put a small piece behind the 'expended' pad. From my experience, these work as well as the refill pads.Don't expect miracles from this thing, but if you are in a small blind watching wildlife, if you use one of these, the skeeters will probably leave you alone.

Ok. I've only used this for a couple of hours, but so far, it's worked PERFECTLY. I live in Dallas and literally cannot go outside between April and October because mosquitoes LOVE me, but tonight I've been outside on our lovely patio surrounded by trees and a creek all evening and have had NO mosquito bites even though I've seen them swarming all around me. I'm sitting in a lounge chair with the device between my feet (I'm taking no chances). I have literally tried everything (sprays, creams, wrist bands, etc.), but so far, this is the only thing that's kept them off of me!!

I got this to combat the no-see-ums we have every year in the spring and summer. It works quite well as long as you keep it fairly close (like under my lawn chair). Of course, not very effective if the wind is blowing but then the bugs are not so bad anyway.

This gadget seems to work. When I first bought, my DH said, "Another gadget!" and was very skeptical.We have used 3 times and it does seem to keep the mosquitoes away while we are eating outside. Find the cartridges and little mats that have the repellant that have to be replaced, to be on the expensive side, so don't plan to use all the time.We use Natural Bug Sprays and they are much cheaper - will save to use when we have company over.....!

This thing actually works, doesn't have any citronella odors, mess, smoke or maintenance (other than occasional refills). I have always been that person that gets destroyed by mosquitos everywhere I go. No longer. I haven't even SEEN a single mosquito since I've started using this product. It's kid safe too. It gets warm when activated, but doesn't get hot enough to hurt anyone.Suggestion: If you plan to use it a lot, buy some refill packs. They each last a long time, but you will want backups just in case.If you have grill-outs, kids, or frequent guests in your outdoor spaces, this thing is a non-invasive, hardly noticeable MUST HAVE.
