These plus Barkeeper's Friend make for a miracle for silica deposits on porcelain sinks!
This is a long story but I hope it helps someone else out there. I have been struggling with ugly and embarrassing mineral silica deposits on my fixtures, sinks, and toilets for 25 years, and have finally found something that works to get them off. Our water source is a well, and for years we thought the annoying deposits were from hard water or iron. Despite extensive water treatment with ozonators, softeners, and filtration, the deposits continued. My garage cabinet is full of dozens of various "hard water deposit" chemicals, acids, and scrubbers which did not work. My Kohler kitchen sink looked gross and the finish ruined. A lab re-tested the water and suggested the deposits were likely silica, and could only be removed with razor blades or intense physical scraping, and that replacement would be simpler. Replacing the undermount sink would require replacing the countertops, so we kept looking for solutions. HERE IS WHAT WORKED: Apply "Barkeeper's Friend" powder to a moistened Red scrubbing pad, and use with the cordless drill, and scrub away for awhile. It makes a splattery mess, but the results were actually stunning. The ugly deposits gradually came off, and more importantly the old smooth porcelain finish emerged. What we thought was a lost cause and ruined sink looks almost new again! We wish we had tried this years ago. For some areas smaller pads or brushes are needed, but you can find those, too. It sounds a bit odd, but this is an exciting revelation for our home, as we are going around scrubbing and revitalizing sinks and toilets. I strongly suggest anyone with similar problems give this a try.

... the 3 inch yellow bristle scrubber because I was happy with how the yellow tackled grout but it wasn't ...
I bought this after purchasing the 3 inch yellow bristle scrubber because I was happy with how the yellow tackled grout but it wasn't ideal for all applications. These, on the other hand, don't do as much for grout cleaning but they do an incredible job on larger, non porous surfaces. It may not look like much, but those yellow, oil splatters on the side of my fridge have been the bane of my existence for 2 years. 2 years!!! Vigorously scrubbing with all the energy I had, I could only get maybe a spot or two off before I needed to go take a nap and dream of a clean fridge. In a few minutes, and after spraying on some scrubbing bubbles, I was able to get most everything I touched but the black marks off (which turns out is just where paint is missing).I'm using my Makita to power it which I'm hoping isn't integral to its cleaning ability because I'd prefer to use a cheaper drill just in case it wears the drill down. I'll report back when I've switched out the drill for some Harbor Freight one.In the meantime, the one thing I can't get either drill attachment to do (nor various cleaning agents and hand held brushes), is get the textured bits on the bottom of my bathtub back to their new, white condition. But it sure made taking soap scum off a breeze.

Pretty good.
I like the brushes better than the scrub pads. I used the red scrub pad on my fiberglass tub, which is encrusted with stone deposits from my well water. CLR won't touch it, vinegar and other household acids won't touch it, strong bases won't touch it. I get not only the brown ring in the toilet but also the brown streaks running down from the rim where the water comes into the toilet bowl. In the toilet the only thing that gets the brown stuff out is a pumice stone and a half hour of ear-splitting screeching applying said stone. That's just to acquaint you with the type of gunk I'm working with. When I put the red scrub pad on the drill and tried it with a non-abrasive cleaner, of course it did nothing to the stone deposits. I rather expected that. So I rinsed it all off and grabbed the Bar Keeper's Friend and started using the scrubby pad with that. It worked admirably, but it didn't take long before the cleanser was stained pink and little bits started coming off the pad. The pink didn't stain the tub, but I wasn't pleased with the color bleeding out considering that the drillbrush site talks about how they use a particular material so it won't bleed color out.I like the fact that the scrubby pad is attached to a *white* plastic disc rather than the black ones used on the scrub brushes. The brushes left marks on the fiberglass when I got too near the corners, and then I had to scrub off the black marks. Didn't have that issue with the scrub pads and the white disc.I bought the red/white disc set because the web site said they're non-scratch. I'm sure my use of the abrasive cleaner kinda negates that, but if that's what it takes to get rid of the stone deposits, I might at some point buy the more aggressive pads or brushes.

Worked fine
This product fit my cordless drill and worked just fine. None of the pads shed at all. It made cleaning my shower much easier. I have a fiberglass shower in a mobile home that has became yellowed. These pads did a better job than anything has so far. I feel that if I ever can find the right solution to use that will make the walls white again that these scrubbers will do the perfect job of getting my shower walls white again. You do have to hold on to the drill with both hands to keep it from bouncing back off the wall. I wish these pads would get down in the grooves on the wall but they are too flat for that. I may try a brush head soon. You can't go wrong with these pads. They sure saved my hands and shoulders from arthritis pain. I would definitely buy them again.

It's okay.
It's okay... using your hands is usually better unfortunately. We all want the job done faster and easier, but this simply is not the case for the jobs I've done. The pads are not gritty enough like the Green pads you get at any store, and also the thickness makes it "plushy" which is not ideal when you need to apply force to get rid of tough stains. It's nice for easy to clean surfaces but for me, it's not very practical... I rarely use it.It would be a great tool if you had a large area to clean that is relatively easy to scrub off. Tougher stains are going to need elbow grease or some other tool...
