Great product!
This is an excellent item for use with dogs crated during the day. It does not leak. Easily attached to the kennel. It is super simple to clean. And if you're concerned about negative reviews about the amount of water available to the dog or other pet.... a soda bottle like a coke bottle works with the spout as well. I graduated to that because I was concerned that my small breed mixes didn't have access to enough. Great product. Will buy again and recommend to anyone looking for a water bottle!

The best one I’ve found!
I am not one to write reviews but I definitely wanted to for this product. Years ago we were told to train our Shih Tzu puppies using a no drip water bottle on the side of their crate which we did. They never messed up all the fur under their mouths which helps with odor and cleanliness. We recently got a new Shih Tzu puppy and I wanted to do the same thing. I purchased 2 other bottles and had to return both. Thank goodness the 3rd time was the charm! This one is fantastic!! It doesn’t drip, it is easy for the puppy to reach as it is totally adjustable and there is a good amount of water that comes out so as not to discourage the puppy and allows him to get enough to drink. I actually bought another one that I can take with us when we go somewhere with him!I wouldn’t hesitate for one moment to purchase this!!

Not Appropriate for Dogs
I ultimately ended up returning this item as it simply doesn't provide enough water flow for a small dog...perhaps it would be okay for tea-cup breeds, but I have a small Maltese-Bichon breed, and again, just not enough water flow to provide water for throughout the day while he is in his playpen while I'm at work. The description implies that it can be used for small dogs, but my opinion would be that it is only suited for very small animals like hamsters, gerbil's, rabbits, etc...and again, perhaps tea-cup dog breeds.I see people complaining that this bottle leaks, and that to me is not a fair assessment. When it's in an upright position, it does not leak. The only "leaking that occurs, is from excess water that doesn't make it directly into your pet's mouth. Of course that would occur...Some people give the wrong impression...that it leaks on it's own, and that's just not a fair assessment...I ended up getting the same brand but in a larger size, and I'm happy with it. It has greater water flow, and like the first one I received, it does not leak on it's own...The overall construction and ease of use (clamps onto cages, or straps into a fabric playpen) is good...no complaints there...

Works great!
I had another hanging water bottle that constantly dripped, requiring me to place a small towel under it to collect the water. It worked fine when my dog went to use it, but the constant dripping was a real annoyance. I found this bottle after doing some research, and decided to give it a try. This was exactly what I needed!First off, the mechanism to hook the bottle onto a pen is much better than annoying springs with other bottles. The Choco Nose fits snuggly and doesn't shift around while my dog is licking. It's also pretty easy to remove if it needs to be relocated or packed up for a trip.Second, as already mentioned, the dripping is far far less. It can still have an occasional drip, but I more chalk that up to my dog's aggressive licking more than the bottle itself.Third, if the bottle sits unused for a while, the ball can get slightly stuck/jammed, so your pet may need to lick it a few times to get it rolling again, or I will sometimes bump it to get it going.Overall, this is dramatically better than the other hanging bottle I used. My dog loves it, and I appreciate no more drips.

Works well but don’t do what I did!
Make sure to get the right one for the type of pet you have!! These are good quality, but I didn’t realize the spout was not for guinea pigs. They had a hard time drinking from it and often spilled the water on the bottom of the cage making a huge wet poopy mess for me to clean.

Good product but not for a fast drinking dog
I put this in my mini dachshunds kennel for night time when we sleep and she is naturally a fast drinker which makes her choke on water. She may also like to play with it. So I only leave it in there for her for a certain amount of time and then I take it away so she doesn’t wake us up choking in the middle of the night. But it’s good product. Doesn’t leak for us and easy to install

Good quality, no leaks
I liked this product and it worked as intended. My old dog couldn’t figure it out so I ended up gifting it.

A constant drip
Back in October of 2020 I bought the bottle and bowl set. Loved it! Bowl is still going strong but the bottle started to drip in October/November of 2023. I thought that it had a good run so in November of 2023 I purchased a replacement of the bottle (with the part they drink from) only. It’s April of 2024 and it’s a constant drip. I could have just got a bad one but I’m now hesitant on buying another if I’m just going to have to keep replacing it every couple months. And to be clear it’s leaking from the ball.. nowhere else. It is clean and sits like it’s supposed to. I see no reason for it to drip. I even tried different sized bottles on it to see if it could somehow be the bottle itself. I’ve even moved the ball around once attached to the cage to see if I can get it to stop dripping. All it does is drip.Could easily be 5 stars cause like I said the 1st one lasted years!

It actually doesn’t leak !! Easy for my dog to get water out of
I have been through many water bottles over the years and they’ve all leaked and have rusted the metal on my dog crates. They all have “leak proof” in the titles but it’s always a lie ! I was VERY skeptical so I’ve tested it out for a while before my review. It’s very easy for my dog to get the water out. The 16mm bottle is perfect size for my shih tzu. A little water does get in the floor as he drinks so I have a little bowl on the floor to catch the water but it only happens from him drinking. Afterwards it’s back to no leaks. Highly recommend. I’ve already purchased a second one-I like that you can switch which way the water bottle faces without having to remove the holding mechanism off of the crate. So when I leave for the day I simply clip the water bottle to face into the crate and then flip it back around to face outwards during the rest of the time.

Not as good as older model
Due to there being 2 ball bearings in the tube rather than one with a spring, not as much water comes out, making it harder for my Shih Tsu to drink from. She ends up biting the tube trying to get more water out of it. Prefer the previous design

Best dog item I’ve ever bought.
It gives enough water for my dog and doesn’t leak. There is some water spillage while the dog is drinking. This is the best quality of its kind and like that bottles to fit it are easily accessible, although I like the bottle it came with. Perfect!

Great quality, but bunny won't use
I love the product, especially the mounting bracket which allows for a secure mount and is really versatile. Build quality is great, especially compared to the cheap $11 unit I already have. Problem is my 4 mos old rabbit refuses to drink from it! It works, I've shown it to her but she takes a lick or 2 and goes right back to the original. If I remove the original, she just uses her water dish. So strange, can't figure it out. Hope the critter grows into it.

So far so great!
The media could not be loaded. I got this forMy dog because he suffers from mega esophagus and drinking water the regular way makes him regurgitate. I wasn’t sure how or where I would attach this but I think it turned out great. I used double sided tape and put it where there’s already a mat incase it drips. He figured it out fast and seems to like using it. Time will tell if it stays up ok.
