Benny Greb - The Art and Science of GROOVE by Christopher Klemme

The DVD is over 3 hours' long - I am working through it slowly so I have only got through to the initial timing exercises at around 15 minutes. As well as being is entertaining and very informative it is already changing my outlook on how I improve my drumming. There is no magic bullet to any skill so it is hard work and sometimes frustrating however, those who persevere will win which is what I intend to do!Some people say that "practice makes perfect" - This is partly true. "perfect practice makes perfect" in my book.I will update this review as I progress but so far so good!Thanks Benny.

One of the best and most original drumming DVD's that I've seen. A hugely talented drummer with a very natural delivery. Highly recommended.

Benny Greb's genius lies in communicating complex concepts in concise, easy-to-understand language. Which is pretty amazing considering that we delivers the information in English, which is not his native language.The Art and Science of Groove focuses on concepts more then technique, so if you buy this DVD hoping to see Thomas Lang-style pyrotechnics, you may be disappointed. However, if you are serious about becoming a better "musician who plays the drumset," this is a must-have.

Benny Greb is one my son's favorite drum teachers. I bought this for him for Christmas and he devoured it in one sitting.
