A True WYSIWYS experience and "the biggest bang for the buck"
This is my first Android tablet and my first Dragon Touch product. Before I decided to buy this one, I did an extensive research in the internet of various 10-inch tablets that are less than $150. I was open to the idea of trying an Android product this time because Windows and IOS tablets are significantly more expensive than android tablets, in general. I have always used an Apple tablets and Iphones. My main purpose of buying a new computer then is to give to my wife, for her daily browsing activities such as banking, checking e-mails and reading the news. At first, I tried an android RCA tablet which I ordered from Walmart. It cost me less than $80, which we used for about a week. Although I am satisfied with its overall performance, I was still looking around for a tablet that really exceeds my expectations. Then I run into Dragon Touch from TabletExpress and did a more extensive research of it by reading almost every single review and watching all the You Tube reviews. After spending countless hours looking for the best budget Android tablet in the market, I finally settled on Dragon Touch, X10, Octacore. In order to meet my under $100 budget, I decided to get the manufacturer refurbished unit from Amazon for $86 which included free shipping. The primary reasons for my choosing this product are as follows:It has the best screen resolution among the budget tablets in the market that are less than $150. It runs at 1366 X 768. Almost all the others are at 1200 X 600.Its front and rear camera resolutions are the highest among the budget tablets. This has a front camera res of 2 MP compared to others which are 0.5 to 1 MP and a rear camera of 5 MP compared to 1 to 2 MP for others. It is one of the only 2 budget tablets that are using an Octacore processor that I know of at that time.It has a brillant display powered by smart technology and was the only brand of budget tablet that has an IPS screen with a resolution of 1366 X 768. All the others are at 1200 X 600.The moment the product arrived I unpacked it right away and started using it. It came with a non-fancy packaging similar to a brand new one. I did notice a few scratches on the edges of the screen. I was hooked from the first time I tried it. It runs super fast and responsive and meets all the description specified in the product specifications….a true WYSIWYS experience. It runs faster than my IPad mini and my aging IPad costing several hundred dollars more. I would like to point out that it was not running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop as all refurbished product runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, the older version, which was specified in the ad. After using it a few days, I started noticing a problem. After a recharge, I noticed a 1-inch wide of multicolored stripe running from top to bottom. I found out that the stripe is temporary and disappears after a reset and would not reappear again until after another recharge. I checked some of the reviews but cannot find anything similar. However, I did find out that this is a rare problem and is also happening among other brands such as Apple, Samsung and other tablets. Despite this problem, I decided to keep using it for awhile until finally I find it annoying to have it reset every time I recharge. After using it for a couple of weeks, I decided to email TabletExpress describing them the problem and asking for a replacement. The company responded promptly and asked me to ship it back and assured me for a replacement unit once they get some in inventory. So I shipped them back with a prepaid shipping label provided by them. Instead of replacing it, they refunded my money in full. After a few days, I noticed from their Amazon ad that their inventory had been replenished, so I decided to order another refurbished one and to my surprise, their prices even came down for a few more dollars. When the unit arrived, it seemed like I got a brand new unused device with no visible blemishes and even better, the 5.1 Lollipop version is running instead of the old version, 4.1 Kitkat. I did not find any quality or functionality issues. It exceeded all my expectations. Currently, I prefer to use this device more than my Ipads. I ended up using it more than my wife whom I originally bought her for. The only reason why I am rating it a 4-star is because I am writing this review for both units, otherwise, my rating would have been a 5-star.I would recommend this device to anyone who is thinking of buying a new tablet as it offers the best value or the “biggest bang for the buck”. It is perfect for everyday internet browsing, checking emails or watching movies and You Tube videos. I would also like to commend Tablets Express for their excellent customer service. They are extremely responsive, courteous and dedicated to the concerns of their customers. I plan on replacing my aging Ipads with a newer Dragon Touch model(maybe X15?) when it comes out. True to its name, Dragon Touch, X10 delivers a powerful performance and an enjoyable TOUCH screen experience similar to that of a DRAGON.

Huge design flaw
Absolutely loved this tablet. Had the ax1 previously until charge port broke, for the price i paid i was ok with it. So decided to try out thr x10. At first i was blown away at how good this tablet was over its predecessor. That was until about the third day when it froze. Since theres no reset button my only choice was to let the battery die, 3 hours later. Its happened twice now in its first week and only option is to let the battery die out. So freekin frustrating. For price i dont expect perfect, and i cant believe theres no way to do a hard reboot. Huge design flaw. Learned how to reboot but the freezing issue never goes away

Good tablet with major flaw.
This is overall a good tablet, particularly as I bought it refurbished. It has an excellent viewing angle and a full sized USB port which I appreciate. My main problem is the HDMI. The tablet has a port but it is nonfunctional due to (as far as I can tell after researching) the operating system, which does not even recognize the port's existence. I hope that a potential future update will solve the problem, but if not the tablet is still good in most other respects. I use it mainly for writing, web surfing, and games.

A great bargain!
After my Samsung tablet broke suddenly i found myself needing a new table ASAP, but i was short on funds. This tablet was in my price range so i took a chance and am glad i did!I am very pleasantly surprised with this refurbished tablet. The screen is just brilliant with a gorgeous clear crisp picture. The battery life is good for hours and hours of fun. The only come so far are some minor freezing issues and the sound is way too low. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

Good if you're lucky enough to buy the cheaper refurbished.
Pros: Responsive, wifi is fast, boot quickly. Large screen. Descent battery life while surfing.Cons: Lousy sound, camera. Locked up randomly until the Tablet Express people had me do a factory reset. Slow to charge (11+ hours via USB 6+ hours with included charger.) Heavy. Old processor and GPU, although still snappy for their age.Glad I bought the refurbished tablet. This device sooo is not worth $120 of the new. If you happen to get lucky enough to buy this tablet refurbished, it's worth it. Don't buy the new one as there are other budget tablets that are better.

Tablet express is the place to get a tablet. ...
Tablet express is the place to get a tablet. They are priced very reasonable. All the same gadgets that All these more well known tablets have are the same as you get with tablet express these guy's I own both the Android and the Windows tablets paid $60 for the x10 and $79 for the Windows . you can't beat that why spend $300 to $500 on a tablet that does exactly and has exactly what tablet express has. My grandmother has the Apple I pad she hates it. I got her a tablet express tablet LOVES IT .....paying cheap doesn't always mean it's cheap quality . They will work with you on any problems you have

Great tablet for the money
This is a great tablet for the money even at the regular price of 119 instead vs my 59 refurbished. It has good battery life but you need to put it in airplane mode if not using the phone/radio. Fast processor good video and pics if your viewing. The only things I was not excited about was the camera and speakers. I did add speaker boost app and it did help some with the low volume and have not done much with the camera yet. Keep in mind I'm not complaining Im very happy with it for what I paid. Really some what impressed. Wished I could have given 5 stars but was afraid it would be misleading to some. I will give an update after a few months

I like it for most things
I like it for most things, including getting photo editing apps. However, I wanted to use Citrix to have the capacity to remote in to my office desk top at my law firm. I can bring up my firm's login page, but after that, I can not access my desktop. I had our IT department work with the Dragon Touch X10 but to no avail. In this regard I am disappointed. Its great for Instagram posts which I am happy about. If you don't need to use Citrix its okay. I would like to see Dragon Touch expand the capacity to use Citrix though.
