7/23/2020In the initial review, I described this as a high quality product. I now retract even that. Used it for the second time today to attempt to run a line sideways through 3 studs. The studs were 6" in a house built in the 60's - so they had hardened - however, after going half way through the first stud - the bit broke free of the shaft entirely... hence - I no longer feel this is a quality product.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------10/19/2019This is a high quality product and will last a long time, however the shaft is so high of a quality that even with two people we were unable to bend the shaft enough from the standard 16 outlet cut (from the floor) without damaging the opposite wall. In the end, had to cut a hole at the fire break and patch.Aside from the high quality of the product which I would normally rate 5 stars, I have to rate this thing with 1 star because it's unusable for the purpose. I will still purchase Greenlee products.

Ok this thing is awesome. I do alot of network inside wiring and it did the job. This thing is very sharp. I let my partner use it and he literally drilled through someones roof but just goes to show this thing goes through anything. Drilled and hit a nail and it ate that nail and was still sharp.

The bit is strong but the shaft is far to week and I found it hard to control. I could not use it to drill. The shaft of the bit needs to be stronger.
