I bought this motor about a year ago and it is failing which is not a big deal to replace and especially with a lifetime warranty. But I have not been able to get ahold of anyone to make use of the warranty. The contact information brings you to a construction company in Maryland.

Installing this Blue Stars Exact Fit motor in my Samsung washing machine was a no-brainer. I disenjoy appliance repair, but the parts+labor estimate of $575.00 put me off enough to do the job myself for a final cost of $80.00 and two hours of labor.Buy one of these with confidence. Though inexpensive, mine appears to be identical to the OEM part, was easy to install (with help from a short YouTube session), and works like a champ.

Fit pretty well, but the pulley is plastic (original was metal), and air recirculating blades were plastic as well but not likely to make a difference. The Electrolux dryer (also sold under many other names) uses a blower with the cage sealed in the exhaust plenum. The cage is plastic with a metal threaded hub (left hand threaded to boot) that will likely break when replacing the motor if the dryer is older. Plastic dries out and becomes brittle. Lots of lint accumulates here as well that can jam the cage and damage it. Get a replacement before starting so you can finish in one try.

I replaced the drive motor because it had seized, the dryer would turn on and shut off within a minute. This drive motor saved me repair charges from an appliance repairman and possibly a new dryer. Really easy to install, no real special tools needed or special skills. For a few bucks more I replaced the tensioner and belt since I had the dryer open and to save possibly needing to do that in the future . I highly recommend going this route if you want to save money. Just one issue, the first motor arrived damaged (plastic connectors area was broken in pieces) I sent it back and received another in 2 days.

I purchased this motor for a Kenmore Series 70 dryer. The product description stated it was a direct replacement from the original part. The motor works great but it wasn’t configured for my dryer. The orientation notch was clocked in the wrong position causing the motor to rub the drum. I had to modify my motor mount. Also the shaft wasn’t correct length causing the blower wheel to rub the housing. Again I had to modify the mount. I would have sent it back if I didn’t need to get my dryer fixed asap. Very disappointed, what should have taken an hour took all afternoon.

Plastic electrical contact block on the side of the motor was cracked and broken in the shipping box. I covered with tape and installed because we needed the dyer ASAP. We will see how long it will last, but not real happy about this purchase. Looks like it had been thrown around or dropped!

after receiving a broken motor for a 'Kenmore He4 elite dryer'...Amazon delivery issues...2nd motor had shaft 3/8" too long on blower wheel side preventing from install...better to purchase OEM from legitimate appliance site...

Second motor first one was broken second one was broken same part just different side both boxes were damaged just curious are you sending out bad motors or just got sorry shippers. Also very tired of making forty five mile trip to drop off at ups for return

Product came before expected arrival date unfortunately the item was in pieces, Broken. Unable to use so I had to return it

Fixed the dryer. Not a fan of this Samsung dryer. First the heating element now this. But the motor worked like a charm
