I've been using this case for over three months now. It replaced a super thin hard case that I really like, but was beginning to fail.I would say this case is medium-soft rubber/plastic. The feel is not slick or smooth, but also not too tacky and rubbery. It has the right amount of softness to allow a solid feeling in my grip, allowing me to one-hand-type without dropping the phone. On the other hand, it does slide nicely into my pocket without sticking to the material or collecting fuzz and lint.The front lip of the case is slightly taller than the screen (plus my hard glass screen protector). If placed face-down on a flat surface, the screen does not touch anything. On the backside, a small rib surrounds the camera lens giving it similar protection.The edges thicker than my last phone case, but not too thick. Given the density of the material (slightly rubbery) it probably will absorb a drop, rather than crack or abrade like some cases I have tried.The hole at the bottom for the lightening connector is rather large. I have lots of different cable brands, event the magnetic quick-disconnect type, and they all fit. I've tried other cases that barely accepted the OEM apple cable, so this was a nice surprise.One of the two items for me that will make/break a case is wireless charging. If a case is too thick and prevents wireless charging, I toss it. This case is not too thick. I charge it every night at my bedside.The other item that is crucial to me is my magnetic car mount. I place a thin metal disc between the case and the phone to engage with my magnets. Many hard cases I've tried are too rigid and the metal disc just doesn't fit. This case has enough give and flex that the metal disk is unnoticed. Also, the thickness of the back of the case is not too much that it prevents a strong magnetic connection to my mount.Everyone has different taste in ascetics, but I like the simple lines and the open holes pattern on the back. It is attractive but not too flashy.I like this case so much, I bought a second for my son's new phone, trusting it would fit, look nice, and protect it. My only problem is now I sometimes swap phones with him by accident.

Bought the red one first, and then this green on for my husband. Can see it (our others were black and with the screen off, you cannot find your phone.) Perforated and supposedly keeps phone cooler, not sure if that works as phone still gets hot. But like the size, feel and bright colors. glad I got it

Like most iPhone users, my phone gets really warm for seemingly no reason. I previously had a 6s and the battery got so warn down from age and frequent overheating that a full charge only lasted me 30 minutes. I became super precautious on keeping my battery as healthy as possible for as long as possible when I got my new phone.Excessive heat is a large component to battery deterioration, so I plan on sticking with this style of case indefinitely.The case is super slim, but a lot sturdier plastic than others I've had. The biggest plus is that the side buttons are easily pressed even through the case. I've had previous issues where it requires a lot of pressure to actually push any buttons down.Great case!

My iPhone 12 Mini kept overheating, which effects battery life. I read this could be from the clear plastic / rubber MagSafe case I had. Finding cases for the Mini is a challenge. This case is red (like my phone), a rubberized plastic, and has small holes covering the back so the phone can cool. I sent a question about whether it could be used with my MagSafe charger without taking off the case. The response was quick & said remove the case…but it was wrong! It does not have a strong magnetic adherence, but it I sit it on the charger it does charge without removing the case (huzzah!!). It is also a raised surface near the plugs & camera lens, to protect them from damage. A very reasonable price, fast delivery, and solved my problem.

I bought this case to replace another one I used for a couple of years as I noticed my iPhone would get too warm at times until I took the other case off. This case has the vented back, which has added benefits of making the surface a bit more grippy and giving your phone a unique style. I have not noticed the same issues with the phone getting warm, so it appears to be helping. The case fits securely and although it’s a slim case, the screen is protected by a raised lip on the case. Phone buttons are easy to access and use, and connecting the charging cable is not a problem. The case doesn’t block wireless charging either. Overall, I’m very pleased with this case and will buy another one if I need it in the future.

I work outside on Saturdays in the south so summer months are brutal. I try to keep my phone in the shade, but I do have to use it a lot so it warms up quite a bit. I was having trouble with my phone overheating, so I thought I would try this case. It doesn't seem to help at all with the heat issue so that's a bummer. It does seem sturdy though as I have dropped it plenty of times with no issue. Also, the color is cute.

Phone was overheating, low memory and frequent charging. The phone remained cool with this case, easy and light to handle, no slippage. Obviously with holes in the back, a light wipe keeps it cleaner. Sturdy clear screen protector included.

i like the holes for venting hot air. I also like the holes because sometimes i put a small fan on my iphone 12 when i play a intense video game & recharge at same time, phone gets hot, holes allow fan air IN thru holesvolume buttons work very well

Really like the circles on the back, light but sturdy case. The only downside is that it took a little while to get here, about a month or more. Other than that, it's a good case.

Quality is very good, it has mat finish which look absolutely amazing and proper protection of camera bumper. Prices is bit high but if you can’t find in local market then it’s good option.
