offset is functional design
The offset design is wonderful for reading, crosswords etc. It keeps your hand out of line of the printed material. It is light, and magnification is functional. I ordered several.

Very clear, no distortions, good level of magnification and the second, smaller magnifying lens is very helpful.I ordered this one because I was very happy with the one I already had and needed another.

Well, the price is right
This molded plastic magnifier is poorly formed, and the image is distorted and a little different for you two eyes. I can use it for a minute or so at a time, but would be risking seasickness for any real reading.
