Works great and connects with every device I've tried so far
For people with less time - If yours is dropping connection clean the connections on the strap and units.Read below for more information, saved myself Β£60 today.I've had this HR chest strap for over a year now, it did start dropping out recently, I was about to shell out Β£60 on the wahoo chest strap, but reading those reviews and some of the polar reviews they all have the same issues with dropping out, by this I mean either not picking up your heart rate or dropping out the connection to the connectied device.Thinking outside of the box, the one common thing all users will probably have is we all sweat a lot while wearing these and unfortunately with all chest straps it's sat right in the spot where sweat runs, right down the middle. So getting to my point now, I figured minarals from my sweat must have worked into the connections on the strap and unit, so I grabbed a baby wipe some cotton bugs and carefully cleaned it, it's working fine now, solid connection and tracking my HR like it should do.

First monitor failed, second working fine.
The first monitor I bought failed after two months.Once I managed to find out how to contact the seller via Amazon (your need to make it simpler Mr Bezos!), customer service was great.Told them the problem, they asked a couple more questions, I answered, a couple of days later a new monitor arrived. These guys are based in China and they provide better customer service and are friendlier than many UK companies I have used!!!The problem with the first monitor was that it would turn on but the green light kept flashing and it kept bleeping but refused to connect by Ant+ or Bluetooth. Changed the battery and it seemed to work for a couple of minutes, so I changed the battery back and it worked again for a couple of minutes. Then went back to flashing and bleeping while refusing to connect to anything and no amount of battery changes made any difference (tried about 5 batteries in the end), it was clearly defunct.Second monitor arrived and has behaved impeccably.Strap is comfortable, I regularly wear it for two hour bike rides and easy to adjust.I will update my review if it does fail but it thas outlasted the first monitor so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Great little device
First one arrived and wasn't working. Contacted the seller who sent out a replacement and received the next day. Connects straight away to your phone and updates quickly. 5* for the seller and service.

Best GPS bike computer
I bought this as I am fed up with my Garmin bike computer (faulty buttons), I thought I will buy it no hard feeling when it break as it was cheaper X6 times to my old Garmin bike computer. the first thing I noticed GPS service was fast when powered on just wait 5-10secs once GPS connected that is it very accurate speed and heart rate mostly. my Garmin wont show REAR beta where you can see and track your ride and it shows in the maps your speed and it is on 3D. I also bought cadence and heart rate monitor and I easily paired it on my XOSS GPS bike computer. easy to pair with your phone just use BT and that's. very easy to use it will store all your ride and gives details and will erase automatically your old records. I highly recommend this GPS XOSS MTB computer very accurate cheap and easy to use user friendly too.

Stopped working after a couple of months
I purchased this because I needed a belt with an ANT function and my old Garmin belt did not possess this capability. Initally, getting the monitor to work with either ANT or traditional heart rate devices proved difficult but eventually it did. Thereafter, it continued to work well until now when it has failed to pair/operate with any of the devices that it has previously worked with. A new battery has not resolved the problem. I have not encountered similar issues with any of the Garmin belts that I have used in the past. Those have always proved reliable. I can only award one star to a device that ceases to function after a little less than 2 months.

So far so good
Bought this chest strap to use with the Xoss G+ cycle computer. Thought it would be best to stick to one brand. It works perfectly so far and have also managed to connect it to the Nike Running App and Under Armour Map My Run.My only minor gripe is that it's not always clear when it has made a successful connection (which may be more due to my inexperience of using such devices). This is my first heart rate monitor so not sure if other brands have a permanent "on" status indicator. You get the bleeps and the intermittent green or blue light but nothing on the monitor to confirm that connection is stable, however, that being said the app on your phone/device will let you know the HR reading and connection status. I'm guessing to not have a permanent feature on the monitor is to conserve battery life so makes sense.Overall happy and it does what is supposed to!

Fantastic
I love this product as much as I like the XOSS computer. Very easy to set up. Also comfortable. You donβt know you are wearing it. The XOSS chest strap is the perfect accompaniment to the XOSS head unit. I love XOSS products. Accurate training information at a a fraction of the price of better known products. Highly recommend 10/10 without any doubt.
