Easy install and looks good.

I previously purchased a sliding glass patio door insert from ideal/perfect pet products, it has a pet door that required some old parts to be replaced. I bought this pet door thinking it would fit as a full replacement: this did not work. This pet door is made for a real door so its much deeper even at its lowest setting then the glass patio door, however, I was able to use the flap and slide (they seem to be interchangeable at the same size). For the cost to replace the old parts, this door was worth it. This product arrived very fast and well packaged.I also recommend calling ideal pet products if you have absolutely any questions about the fit of their products and parts, customer service is excellent.

We were replacing an existing worn pet door, and this was the only one we found that looked similar to the one currently in the door and matched the measurements. We were pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly and was easy to install.

I had bought one of these pet doors before and just got the second one. These pet doors are good to be installed through a wood door. I installed them through a wall and had to build out the opening. So if you are doing the install into a wood door then it should go smoothly.

Perfect for the family pet who runs in and out. Easy to put in.

My 20lb cat can fit thru it. Barely.

Wide frame makes it easier. You don't have to work with watchmaker's precision. I would have preferred an opaque flap, but we rarely have guests, so clear is OK. Hopefully my cat will find it user friendly.

It’s installed on an exterior door into a dog run. Was fine for 6 months then started noticing the flap was distorting. It’s now so warped that when closed the bottom 1/3 of it is bent into an L-shape and won’t seal out flies, wasps or the weather. Only 1 elderly dog using it 5-6 times daily. Would NOT buy again.
