Exactly What I Needed. Direct Replacement
Most users will never actually install the whole assembly, but this unit provides the needed, essential, parts needed to fix that leaking valve. There should be a parts kit available, but there isn’t. This is the only solution.

No more water leaks
Used the parts from this item to replace the worn out controls, so no pipe glue needed. Gaskets and spring devices in old devices were in terrible condition and these parts were exact replacements. Make sure to capture the model number off the cap of the old unit to get the correct replacement. No more leaks and my plants are healthy again.

Used it to rebuild leaky sprinkler valve
Instead of installing the whole valve, I transplanted the working parts (black plastic) into an old valve that would not fully turn off. It works well, and I didn't need to do plumbing work.
