Don’t get me wrong, the blade itself is beautiful. Good steel, nice grind, and sharp as the Devil himself. But the handle is kinda short and comes with a glossy, lacquered finish over the micarta. It looks AMAZING, but I believe in function over form. Even with dry hands it felt like it was impossible to get a good grip on it. Since I had to give it the death grip the end of the handle created quite the hotspot in the hand. And with no jimping on the spine it doesn’t help if you try to do a delicate little slice. Also not a fan of open ended leather sheaths. If it doesn’t snap in you should have a an snap or retention loop over the back.Make the handle 1 inch longer with a decent checkering or texture and I would love this knife and just buy an after market sheath. As is I had to return it.

The size and shape of this Knife makes it ideal for EDC. The bobtail shape is extremely comfortable to grasp and is long enough to get purchase for any serious cutting that one may choose to do. The flat ground blade came sharp, and with some stopping, was downright impressive.The sheath is not as pictured: It is an open top and not as shown. It is a quality sheath.

I have a couple of these knives now and they are fantastic. Great quality steel and sheath too! However, they simply do not come sharp, not even close to a usable edge. So prepare to spend some time working that edge right out of the box.

Knife itself isnt bad. But beware it does not come ( or atleast mine didnt) with the sheath as advertised. The sheath i recieved has zero retention to the point i cannot carry the knife for fear of it falling out. Currently looking into other sheath options. The knife i give a 4 out of 5. The sheath a 2 out of 5. Looks nice and is sturdy but wont hold the knife.
