Mic stand is easy to use. Some parts are definitely plastic, but it is sturdy enough to hold dynamic mics just fine. I used it with a Lewitt MTP 550 DM with pick holder and picks. Bumped the stand a few times without changing position or having the mic dip. Great for practice at home, may not hold up on tour or heavy road use, however, I have not used it for that purpose. Really happy with the purchase for the price.

Okay, guys, who's over at Blinq working magic? I mean this was like a snap of the finger delivery. I couldn't believe it----just amazing!!! The quality of this stand is outSTANDing!!! Folks for the price, you simply should not pass up on getting one of these. It should work great for medium weighted mics. I intend on getting at least two more of these in the future. I have two more mics coming and these stands will serve them well. Great job guys!!! Now, there is just one small thing, the screw ( plastic or metal ) that connects the boom arm to the stand was missing. I will try to find a screw that, hopefully, will fit and hold it in place. If you guys at Blinq read this, please send me one as the package did not contain it, and believe you me, I looked hard. However, if you can't, no problem, I'll make it work, For this price of this stand and the quality, I'm not gonna have a tantrum. Thanks and I look forward to doing more business with you.

For the money, this is a good mic stand. It doesn't compete with pro gear, and you should not compare it to stands that cost two or three times as much. If you need pro level, spend more money. That said, I have had this stand for three years, and I use it next to my drums frequently. It has a long boom that works great for that mic position. I recommend this stand, and will probably buy another for my practice space.

Strong, sturdy stand for a very affordable price. The Gator brand in general puts out some affordable quality products. I own a few Gator cases and they are superb. Would definitely recommend this stand for anyone that wants a reliable boom but doesn't want to break the bank.

Great sturdy stand. I gig with it 3 times a week and it has not failed me yet. I love the oversized grip for raising and lowering the stand, it makes it very easy to adjust.

These are my all time favorite mi stand. The finish does not seem to rub or scratch of like mi stands if have had in the past

What an awful mic stand. Everything slips very easily and can barely tighten. I know It's cheap, but If you want a proper functioning mic stand look elsewhere.

Got this stand delivered to me today. First impression was packaging which was well packed. This product doesn’t come with a case and so you will have to purchase that from somewhere if you plan on carrying this stand with you on the go.For me, I was looking to build my own YouTube studio and this stand has pretty much served my purpose well.I attached a Rode videomic go, which is a beginner level microphone from Rode company. It fit perfectly into the boom stand without any additional adapters.All in all, a pretty good deal for the price you pay.Giving it a 4 star cause the sturdiness of the product could have been better.Once again, great buy.
