Thomas and Inez
This book started out good then went downhill when Inez started being dense. I don't understand how the author always seems to make the women in her books seem so totally dense! First off, Thomas is suffering from a bag of blood laced with an extasy-mixed drug that was meant for the club. Then he is stabbed in the back and she asks Thomas is he all right. Then she takes FOREVER to remove the knife because of her nerves and whatnot. Even after she speaks with Herb an Immortal, she doesn't tell him Thomas may need help due to the drugs since he collapsed on the floor. After all of that, when she does remove the knife, she leaves him there to continue her search for his aunt. What a woman right? And she's annoying as hell! I was just on chapter 8, with 9 more to go. Lyndsay Sands please stop having the women in your books do stupid things. 😒

Upon meeting Inez, Thomas is shocked to find that he can't read or control her as that means that she is his lifemate.Inez Urso has succeeded in her career and reached the upper echelons of Argeneau Enterprises due to her determination and drive, which sadly has left her with little in terms of a personal life. When her boss Bastien calls asking her to babysit a relative and assist in the search of Bastien's missing mother, Inez runs out to do her best. However, she encounters shocking things that make her doubt her sanity - after all, what other explanation could be for the long teeth she saw in Thomas' mouth? But this is just the beginning of the surprises in store for her...Will Inez ever be ready to commit to Thomas for such a long lifetime? Especially when he explains what being turned entails?Vampires Are Forever is the story of Thomas and his lifemate Inez. Thomas' Story!
This book is about Thomas finding his lifemate. Thomas has been mentioned in nearly every book since the 1st one in this series.Thomas was asked by Bastien to travel to England to see if he could track down Marguerite (Thomas' aunt/mother & Bastien's mother) as they can't get ahold of her by phone; especially to let her know about her new granddaughter.Inez works for the Argeneau's in their London office & was asked by Bastien to pick Thomas up from the airport & help him with the investigation of finding Marguerite. & when she finally gets to the airport he doesn't see her even though she sees him & tries to get his attention before he gets into a cab. However, she doesn't succeed & follows him to the hotel where he's staying & give him what for in both English & Portuguese (which Thomas doesn't understand at least the Portuguese part). That starts the beginning of their relationship in which after he bit her & then couldn't read her mind to wipe the memory of that bite. This book contains lots of sex scenes, a good vs bad plot as some other immortal keep taking control of Inez in order to wipe her memory & then later tried to kill her a couple of times, some of the couples from the other books in this series & lots of traveling. This book was very good & there were some parts of it that I remember from the last time (a very long time ago) I had read this book.

Loved it
Vampires are Forever is the eighth book in the Argeneau series and I just loved getting to reenter this world. I was just drawn into this wonderful story and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so easy to get lost in this great story. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

3.5 stars
This is the 8th in the Argeneau vampire series and follows Thomas on his search for Marguerite who has just recently begun a career as a P.I. and gone missing. Sent to help him is Inez Urso - one of Bastien's employees but he forgot to tell her about vampires before promoting her. All Thomas has to do is keep this information secret until Marguerite is found then Bastien will tell her. Easy - until Thomas runs out of blood just before a trip to Amsterdam and bites Inez not knowing that she is his lifemate and he can't wipe her memory afterwards! The plot surrounds the search for Marguerite and the developing relationship between Inez and Thomas and Inez trying to accept that she is his lifemate. I loved Thomas in the previous books and was really looking forward to his story but I was a little disappointed with it. I still love Thomas and I really liked Inez too but I found the story of the search for Marguerite frustrating. I love books with a bit of a mystery aspect but I hate books with cliff-hanger endings. Yep - I have to read Vampire Interrupted to find out what happened to Marguerite which is fine considering I was going to read it next anyway but to be honest it really took away from this book not to have a proper ending. If you love Argeneau vampires then read this book because no doubt Vampire Interrupted won't come together as it should without the stuff in this book. (This is Marguerite's story and surely this has to be spectacular because she is brilliant). Had this book not been in the middle of one of my favourite series' I probably wouldn't keep it - it lost 1 star for having a cliff-hanger (or non-ending) because I just hate them. The other half a star for pretty much the same reason - due to the nature of the book the plot never really went anywhere because it didn't have to with the conclusion in the next book. It was a decent read and Thomas is great but there are definitely better books out there.

An Old Story still being remade
Now, don't get me wrong. I love a good Vampire novel. Always have and always will. The Lynsay Sands novels, however, whilst coming at the convention in a new way - it's the mini transformers in their bloodstream that give them long life and heighten their looks - are also repetitive and long-winded. Every novel is the same. But... 'Vampires are Forever' is the beginning of the decent storylines and (yes it's still the same as the stories that went before it) is written with more skill. If you're looking to buy a Lynsay Sands Argenau novel, I would recommend you start from here and work outwards. I did, and I have to say, the books prior to this are not really worth reading.Have fun!! :) x

The book arrived as it was described and delivered when estimated which is always good. The book is a fab read especially if you have read all the books before this book. I would recommend telling people about this book and coming to amazon to buy this book and others because you get a great online service which is safe and reliable!
