I have installed radiant flooring for a boiler system, that was zoned for baseboard heat. I was overheating the radiant floor. Finally added an open loop system with a heat exchanger. Radiant can now be run at a lower temp. This made a huge difference during the transition time from winter to summer. House now stays at a constant 70 deg F.This unit powers my 007 circulator as well as three zone valves perfect fit for my upgrade. Using dual potable hot water tanks for storage. Boiler now heats the hot water tanks instead directly heating the radiant to 160+ deg.

I had a failed contact relay that was hooked up with a nest of wires and 3 switch relays to control the pump and zones. This thing not only simplified the wiring, but eliminated the loud switching that often would wake us up. Hard to believe how excited I was to have this thing up and running.

I bought this and installed it myself. The installation was easy. The instructions allowed me to easily identify which terminal connections I needed to use. It has been on the wall, doing its job without error, for several months now. I use it to control two valves that move water either to an in floor heating system or to a domestic water heat exchange unit. It turns on the primary pump and the domestic pump when heating domestic water. It prioritizes the domestic water heating over the in floor heat. There are other controls for additional pumps and controls if needed.

This product has had improvements since last time I bought on amazon a few years ago. I had trouble on previous model with the board intermittently shorting til finally on Christmas day the fuse failed melting the end of the fuse. This model has a more stylish plastic cover with fiber optic indicating lights. The board was changed and seems better built now. It has 2ea. 5 amp fuses instead of 1ea. 5 amp fuse. There are 2 spare fuse attached on back of plastic cover. Very well engineered. It does not look like the older version with boxy square metal cover. The transformers look maybe slightly bigger.

Good upgrade to my 80s heating system. Already paying for itself and it disagnosed a bad zone end switch right off the bat.
