Works well but is quite noisy.
Works well and is good value but is quite loud when working. I'd buy another though.

Easy to use but a bit too lightweight
The unit works fine but it is not easy to open the disk drawer due to it being a bit too light. I end up just pushing the unit along unless I use both hands - one to steady it.

Very happy so far. Works very well.

Works okay for the price!
Works pretty much okay for the price, though it would not read or rip CDs with any substantial scratches that still play well on my more expensive audiophile grade SA-CD player.

Feels cheap but it does the job and it is cheap..
Doesn't feel like a quality built product and the instructions are in fairly poor English. However it does the job and it is very easy to use. Can't go wrong at the price.

Works great on windows. Not great for Mac.
It’s a brilliant product but it won’t work too well on Apple. It works brilliantly on windows though. Does the job.

Does the job
Built a new computer this summer (I actually got the parts!) and build it without a DVD drive as hardly ever use these any more and I have a drive on my laptop. However had a problem when installing Windows on the new build in that the ethernet port was not recognised by the stock Windows drivers and the proper drivers were on the Motherboard CD. Luckily I was able to copy the CD onto a USB stick using my laptop. From this I recognised that whilst I might not need a DVD drive on my desktop very often - sometimes it is usefulSo I bought this - price looked reasonable and were plenty of positive reviews. In use it seems OK - only issue is it seems sometimes to need to be plugged in, then unplugged and then plugged back in to be properly recognised. Not always but often enough. Once recognised it's fine - adequately fast, noise levels OKIt shows up in explorer as a DVD drive and with at least 1 USB drive as it has slots for various memory card slots - but I've not used these so far
