Sealproof Pond Tubing Pump Fitting, 30 Configurations, Works with Most Pumps, Fish Safe, Black

this is exactly what I needed. I have two waterfalls on my pond so I need to have two shut off values. Since my largest fall sits up higher, I need to be able to turn down the lower one so I have more going to the top. This is perfect! I am using an 1.5 inch hose and it's been hard to find fittings that fit exactly with that size hose. But with a little lubrication, this was a perfect and tight fit!

Sadly this did not fix my problem. I have a 1" male threaded fitting exiting my pump and no adapter to make it female. Therefore, I cannot attach to the fitting in this kit. However, I will be able to use the kit as parts when my hose barb from my filter needs replacing.

Loved the flexibility of sizes

Pay attention to the dimensions. If they work with your situation it is sturdy. I am unable to use it because I needed 3/8 inch ID fitting.

I needed to connect a garden hose to a pool hose for my solar pool warmer contraption. Per David Calder’s recommendation (thanks David!) i purchased the reducer and a hose bib to make this work. We’re a happy camper now!

Don't buy this product here, go to the local home and garden and match up your pump fittings to what they have. I'm not sure how you can make a product that hooks up to pond pumps, either directly or indirectly, have 4 or 5 different threaded fitting sizes to choose, yet make the wrong size thread width for a pond pump!?!? It would boggle the mind if he world wasn't so azz backwards anyhow.This product fails all around. As I was cutting it down to the size thread and hose width I need (size correct, but thread completely different) it was wobbly. Read the reviews, they will snap, easily. I cut mine with a pair of pipe cutters, which is pretty direct and efficient, and was still getting bending. Then I flexed it in my hand, just to see if it would snap, and it was like holy cow, this thing isn't sturdy...at all.As for longevity, in the long run it's a good thing this didn't fit, because if I would disconnect and connect it for end of season/service/clean/etc, I'm certain the fitting would break sooner than later. That's not even considering water/sun/dirt wearing it further.Don't be me! I bought 2. Now I'm, out $35 because I cut one. Now I have to head out to look for fittings that will actually work tomorrow.The best part is the 2 caps that came with this. Where do they go? This device can't act as a bulkhead, no way. That was the bonus on this head-scratching hunk of plastic crap.Works with most pumps my azz. I haver the most popular pump off of Amazon, so good luck folks!

I felt 20 bucks was kind of high for a piece of plastic BUT it definitely works and offers multiple ways to get the job done and if I decide to upgrade my pond pump then I’ll just use the next size up

Everyone who has a sump pump should have this in case of an emergency repair! Our sump pump hose sprang a leak during a heavy rain storm so we cut away the hose piece with the hole and immediately attached this piece with the 2 clamps and our sump pump was working within moments of plugging in again. It had to pump water for hours with the storm so we were grateful we had this repair kit. It’s fantastic! Thank you. (Thank you for including the clamps)
